We stayed here because we wanted to do the IVV walk in Stowe, and it conveniently leaves from this inn. Unfortunately the bridge was under repair at the time (due to be finished by Memorial Day), so it made getting to the inn a little tricky, and also impacted on us doing the walk. However, neither was insurmountable and we...

We arrived at 4pm and had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready. The staff us every half and hour it would be ready in a half an hour. If it's going to be 2 hours just tell me so I can go do something... The staff offered us a complementary drink while we waited, but since...

i spent a night in April, while in the area to visit family. Although the Mountain Road was closed for repairs, as a past local, I was quite able to use the "back roads" in and out. It was nice seeing what has been done with the property. I worked there when Steve and Miranda owned the property.

The staff is awesome! We were greeted with smiles every day! We stayed in the main Inn upstairs in a lovely room with a four-poster bed. Absolutely loved the old furniture in the piano room! We enjoyed our dinners in the restaurant and the evening campfire outside talking with other guests. The Inn is situated in a great place to...

A visit during 'mud season' does not truly give a fair evaluation - many restaurants are closed (including the one in this hotel) and with few hotel guests it is difficult to state that the hotel services were good or not, that rooms were noisy or not and so on. But we did enjoy our stay at this place; we...

If you are looking for something that is quaint, charming, relatively inexpensive, and close to the heart of Stowe, this is the place. This is the perfect Inn for when you want to get away from the city. Yes, the nearest bridge is currently closed, and there is a slight detour, but directions are well marked and with no though...

Place is great, please ignore those negative reviews, my girlfriend worried for nothing and it turned out being very nice. Only problem we had was that the bridge was closed and construction was being done at 730 am Sunday morning. The private construction company obviously has no common courtesy and at least could of started a little bit later.

On a beer sojourn to the wild wild east, we stumbled upon Stowe Inn in Stowe, Vermont. At first skeptical due to the extremely low price, we were sublimely surprised to find it was a classy very cozy inn. It's a national historic landmark but the place is kept up pretty well, aside from the noisy heating unit. And they...

We took a last minute weekend away and chose The Stowe Inn in Vermont. I booked a King Suite for two nights with wine and strawberries on check in. I have to say we were disappointed with our stay. Firstly once we arrived we found the town had closed the access bridge to the hotel so we had to drive...

Truly enjoyed our stay. As expected the hotel, being a classic, is older but the rooms are modern and obviously recently renovated, very clean a joy to stay in. The location could not be better, on main street and walking distance to the main hiking paths and the local Stowe attractions. The restaurant is top notch and I would think...
