This is the third time that I have stayed at The Riverside Inn and I have enjoyed my stays each time ...The owners, Kay and Julian are friendly and very accommodating. This is not a pretentious Inn ! it is clean and comfortable and very well priced. It is just "up the road" from the village and, the rooms are...

I made a reservation in May planning to stay at the Riverside Inn in June for a dog event. Unfortunately the event was cancelled due to torrential rains and although I gave them 5 days' notice, they refused to give me a refund. I was aware of their no refund policy, but I was hoping they would make an exception...

no luxury amenities here! but that's not why you book a room here... it's cheap, in a great location, and you have plenty of $$$ left over for several weeks worth of ski passes. the shed and piecasso are just a stone's throw away. a huge perk is that the back of the property is on the stowe recreation path....

When we arrived at the Riverside, we were welcomed into the in with warm hands. Almost like when you arrive at a nice family members house. Never any problems, inn keepers are great on advice (where to eat, hang out, etc.). We had to cut our stay here early because they were all booked up so we stayed at the...

I stayed in the main house for a couple of days as part of a Trek America group tour. The place is clean, warm and has a real homely feel to it. It also has a big log fire which was going strong throughout my stay. In addition to that there is a pool table and free WI-FI. The host's...

In our opinion, the Riverside Inn is the smart lodging choice in Stowe. Not only were Julian and Kay exceptionally friendly and accommodating, they also ensured a fire was going every night and took time to offer recommendations and chit chat. The Inn is located virtually next door to a fantastic microbrewery (the SHED), an italian place with EXCeLLENT pizza...

I stayed at the Riverside Inn as part of a Trek America trip in July/August 2010. Stowe itself is a lovely place - unfortunately I didn't see much of it, but it looked really nice! As for the Inn, I thought it was alright - our whole group took up the main building so I got a look around a...

Note: We stayed in the hotel portion of the Inn ---The negative: Our room was not as clean as I like; there were quite a few cobwebs, and dirt/debris/hair in places which made me and my kids uncomfortable. There was a coffee machine but it didn't look like something I'd care to use. A lawn chair from the porch had...

This is a great affordable place for large groups or folks with kids. The owners make you feel at home and the ski slopes are a quick ride away on a free shuttle that passes every half-hour. Several restaurants within close walking distance.
