I felt we were led astray by positive reviews from Trip Advisor. We had booked online and felt trapped and so stayed out our two nights, but in retrospect, wish we hadn't. Felt more trapped when all guests were seated at one table, enforcing breakfast conversation which was pleasant, however, we were there to visit with our son. Hosts rather... More

I stayed at the Honeywood this weekend with my husband and we were totally shocked at the conditions. We'd read the reviews here on TripAdvisor and it seemed like a good place and a good value. We were mostly in town to hike and relax so we didn't need anything too fancy. However we did want a good night's sleep.... More

This was my husband and my 4th stay at the Honeywood Lodge in June 2007 and we absolutely love it! It feels like you are in the country and it is quiet and peaceful. Breakfasts are delicious! The property is very clean and well kept. The owners, Carolyn and Bill and their son Trevor make it a very homey feeling.... More

Loved this place. It's older, more interesting than a chain hotel or motel. Staff very friendly, helpful. Particularly neat was the apres ski apple cider and cookies run by the staff every afternoon, in the old lodge (there's a new and old lodge, 200 yards apart). Being served breakfast by the owner made it more like a B&B than any... More

If you want great service, good food, wonderfully warm atmosphere, clean and beautifully decorated rooms and helpfull staff mixed with a heaping measure of local color (Vermont green that is), stay at the Honeywood Lodge. We have stayed here in the past and I remember the very first time I stepped into our room. It was a picture out of... More

We are definitely coming back to this B&B ! Between The Mountain and CrossCountry skiing facitities AND very near super hiking trails is the Honeywood Inn & Lodge. For our active family the location could not be better. There is a shuttle which runs up to Mount Mansfield (and also into town by the new indoor pool facility and all... More

Thank you so much for making our trip to Vermont so memorable. The Honeywood Inn is simply breath taking. Beautifully decorated and so homey. Our room was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast DELICIOUS! The french toast was incredicble! The owners Bill and Carolyn were so friendly it felt like we were staying with family. We are... More
