We ended up being very late for our check in but the hotel was nice enough to leave a note and a key at the front for us so we didn't have to try and find anyone at 6am. The room was HUGE! Had an amazing view of the mountains and the hotel! Jacuzzi bath and a great shower, Sofa...

The first time we stayed here we were blown away by the old alpine architecture and history. Our second stay we were pleasantly surprised to find it revamped with new furniture and upgrades. The views of the mountains are amazing from the balcony. Fritz's bar in the basement is one of our favorites where you can get beers by the...

A ski trip has a lot of down time even for hardier skiiers (which my girlfriend and and I are not). And I can't imagine a nicer spot to have spent down time during our trip to Stowe. The common spaces were a great spot for us to study (her) and relax (me) and spend hours on hours doing things...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend. Upon check in we were given a very large room that was very dated and had multiple walls of mirrors that we found kind of comical, we are pretty easy going and it takes a lot for either one of us to complain about something at a hotel or restaurant....

Stayed at the Stowehof with buddy to do some skiing. Erica, at the front desk when we checked in, made us feel welcome right from the start. The hotel is so quaint and comfortable, we both plan on coming back with our wives and kids. There are fireplaces and great spots to relax scattered about. The Fritz bar is great....

I've been coming to the Stowehof Inn since the late 90's, and each time I come away a little bit more impressed. There was a day many years ago when a staff member jump-started my dead car. Another time, a staff member tracked me down to return a book that was left hot-tub side. After 5 years away, a staff...

On a recent trip down to Boston from Montreal, my partner and I stayed overnight at The Stowehof. Excellent choice. Great ambiance with fireplaces and fireside drinks. Friendly staff. Relatively inexpensive. Great place to relax and replenish.

I have been going to the Stowehof for over 10 years now.... its a "must stay" when in Stowe. The town speaks for itself... so many great places to see and the restaurant scene is one of the best, even if you don't ski. The Stowehof itself is amazing. The drive up the winding driveway lit with lamps is always...

I flew to London and then drove with my 20 year old son from Montreal where he is studying to The Stowehof for a five night stay. We had a marvellous time from the warm welcome from the wonderful Molly to Dave who lit a fire for us one afternoon and brought marshmallows, chocolate and crackers to toast and eat...

Me and my friend were there last weekend and we really loved this cosy hotel. The environment was excellent as well the service. I really recommend it. After skiing you could relax in from of one of the fire places and the staff of the hotell took their own car and drove us to the village.
