I got married here in October, and all I can say is that I was completely blown away by the level of hospitality me and my group received. We felt like part of the family. Jesse is the GM and she is fantastic. She actually lives on the property with her husband and 2 adorable little girls. The entire family...

One of the best meals I've ever had. Beautiful decor, excellent service. I wish we had made reservations to spend the night. There wasn't a room available to see, but if the rooms are like the restaurant, I know they are beautiful. This is a must-see if you go to Stowe, Vermont.

I went to the Edson Inn to research some places to suggest to my brides to have their very own weddings. I absolutely fell in love with place and every single person that worked there. They were so warm and inviting from the very moment we walked into the front door. Every single person was so kind especially Jesse who...

My wife and I wanted a comfortable place to celebrate a big birthday and we were very fortunate to find Edson Hill. It's way up a mountain outside Stowe, set on a very large property so it's totally quiet and very beautiful. We had one of the deluxe king rooms - que sera sera -- but my guess is there...

My husband and I stayed at Edson Hill this past weekend. We were originally booked to stay Thurs - Sun, coming from NY. We ended up hitting really bad weather and had to cancel our Thursday night reservation and stay at a motel. Jessey, Lucinda and Erik were wonderful. They comped the night so we didn't have to pay. We...

Edson Hill won a Conde Nast award in 2015 and it was well deserved. The hotel is in a great location, off the beaten track, but close to Stowe and attractions like the Ben & Jerry factory in Waterbury. We stayed in a King Room which boasted the most comfortable bed we had on our 3 week trip, a lovely...

My wife and I did a 10 day road trip through New England for our honeymoon and we fortunate enough to get to spend two nights here as we passed through Vermont. I've had the fortune of staying at some great inns and resorts and this easily can be added to that list. The setting is beautiful, the staff was...

We just returned from a lovely two nights stay at Edson Hill. Attention to detail there is outstanding, from the warm and welcoming reception area to the furnishings & décor in the rooms. The property affords multiple opportunities for hikes, visiting the horses, and pure relaxation. The creative breakfast offerings were delicious. My only regret is that we did not...

My husband and I stayed in one of the "cabins" with a fireplace and soaking tub. All the rooms are beautifully appointed, charming, relaxing. The linens, throws and pillows are all lovely. Our only complaint (minor one!) is that the sliding barn door to the bathroom only has a handle on the exterior which makes closing it from inside the...

I should have written this ages ago as we actually visited last Fall. I wouldn't have bothered except now, one year on, and this place continually pops into my head when I want to whisk myself away from the usual humdrum of life. If a place can do that, it must be pretty special. It is. Beautifully furnished, friendly staff,...
