The Manor House was great and the king room, although somewhat small, was more than adequate. The service was professional, attentive and friendly making me feel more like family rather than a customer. The restaurant was exceptional for a small Inn in Vermont with great food and a very good wine list. The staff could not have been more accommodating...

Just returned from a wonderful long weekend at Edson Hill in Stowe. The Inn itself is adorable (beautiful grounds as well) and Stowe was breathtakingly beautiful during the peak of the fall foliage. Great service, good location near Mt. Mansfield, lots of hiking trails and "downtown" Stowe. We also had a wonderful dinner at the onsite restaurant and the breakfasts...

pros - beautiful inn grounds, especially in Autumn. and honestly, this is probably the most updated lodging I've seen on my research of every single property in Stowe. Very comfy bed. People are friendly Cons - a little far out of the way. Bathroom though nice decor has poor water pressure, kind of hard to shower. Breakfast limited selection

The Edson Hill is an exceptional country inn, located in Stowe Vermont. The rooms are spacious, decorated amazingly and many feature a fireplace and soaking tub. The bathrooms are sleek and modern. The manor house is also beautiful and inviting. Breakfast and dinners are also superb. The grounds are maintained in excellent condition and include a pond and stables--very relaxing...

Edson Hill was truly a hidden gem. Our deluxe King room, that had been recently renovated, was done with exquisite rustic taste . Room was very spacious and had a large working fireplace that we used all day long. They had great hiking trails through the woods to down to the pond and horse stables. Yes, their 3 friendly horses...

Romantic, ambiance and wonderful food to boot. The swordfish and burger had a special twist, but the donut and cheese cake desserts were incredible. All seatings have outstanding views over a horse farm.

We made a two week road trip to New England from the midwest with the intention to simply explore and learn to know New England better. We intentionally decided to stay away from busy, traveled hotels and touristy type stops and look for hotels and Inns off the beaten path, hopefully giving us a more authentic New England country experience....

The staff here is so helpful; you can tell Jesse loves his work. We emailed that we might be arriving earlier than check in, and our room was ready and waiting. The rooms have been recently redone; the bathrooms are nice, the rooms very comfortable, with a big fireplace. We did think the bed, tho comfy, was almost impossible to...

If you are looking for a lovely, quiet setting in the VT countryside, this is it. Loved the décor and the bar on the lower level is beyond cool. The host who greeted us when we arrived was very attentive. The only reason this review is not a 5 is because the service in the restaurant was not great, although...
