This is our second year in a row visiting Stowe and the Mountain Road Resort for a friends beer/ski weekend. Here are our thoughts about this visit: - Location - it is 3 minutes from the Alchemist Brewery and there are some decent restaurants about a 1/2 - 1 mile away. -Rooms are modern, clean -Rooms have a fridge to...

We arrived very very late/early in the morning and found our room key and a lovely note introducing us to the hotel taped to the door. Our late arrival was easily accommodated. The room was very large and comfortable and the fire place was excellent after a long day on the slopes. It was a was dated but suited our...

The Mountain Road Resort is located just right for travel around Stowe; whether you're skiing at Mt. Mansfield/Smugglers Notch, going to the Alchemist Brewery for some Heady Topper beer or visiting Ben & Jerry's or Cabot Cheese - it's an A1 location. It's excellent value for the money, and although it is not the Topnotch Resort or Stowe Mountain Lodge,...

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful resort in a gorgeous area. Close to shops, restaurants, Ben and Jerry's factory etc. Rooms were a great size and the fireplace is a lovely touch. We stayed in a king size room with separate seating area. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only issue was being charged in my card two weeks...

This place is newly renovated. Very nicely renovated. The price is very reasonable. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are cozy and renovated but you can tell it is cosmetic the bathroom is dated but it was still nice. The breakfast is the basics. Yogurt, fruit, pastries, juice, milk and coffee. This is perfect for those traveling...

My boyfriend and I went there for two nights in the weekend. The staff was super friendly. The front desk guy was very informative and knows everything about Stowe. The room was cozy and sweet. They supplied you with wine opener and good quality toiletries. The free breakfast was simple pastries and beverages. The carpet could be cleaned. I love...

My husband and I only stayed here one night as we were passing through Stowe. Most of the hotels were booked since this is a very busy time of year so this was the one that we ended up staying at. It's a cheap place to stay and you get what you pay for. Carpet needs to be replaced and...

Very poor. Class themselves as a resort. Nothing more than an old fashioned motel. Dark, dingey and musty room. Carpet not properly cleaned in years. Bathroom floor stained. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked ok. Cannot believe that this accommodation is listed on your and booking.com websites as a satisfactory resort.

Staff at this facility are very friendly. The room was clean and functional, the ensuite plumbing needs looking at, controls are temperamental! Parking outside your room. If you are visiting book directly, the On-line website add premiums!

We stayed 2 nights and paid a lot of money for what turned out to be a very poor 2 star motel not hotel. Very casual checkin. room was absolutely filthy, stains all over the carpet and dust, dirt & hairs at back of bed on floor. Coffee maker dirty generally not pleasant stay. We'd paid what we would normally pay...
