We didn't stay in this Lodge while we were in Stowe VT. for three days recently, and I deeply regret not doing so. We did go up to do a tiny tour the grounds, (with their permission) visited the gift shop, (where I spent a fortune) and went to eat Dinner in their restaurant. The views are fantastic. And having...

Whenever I return to the Trapp, I feel like I am coming home. The guest houses are beautiful, and provide a great living space. The view is stunning... the mountains are gorgeous. There are activities (I recommend the s'more campfires!) and movies for kids and families. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great, right near the downtown. Pool, rec...

We were fortunate enough to stay here the night of a Vermont Symphony performance in the nearby amphitheater. We didn't have tickets to the performance, so we asked the staff for a good location in the lodge to be able to hear it. We listened to the end of the performance from the 2nd floor balcony of the living room,...

This Hotel was lovely....beautiful setting....lovely hotel. Quite clean. However, the staff could use a little review or class in handling their clientele. We could not get our coffee pot to work ....when we called your desk...we were told "oh you don't normally get a coffee pot with "those" rooms" Then since we were a "bus" group we were told in...

Dear Daisy A, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I do apologize for the response that you received regarding assistance with coffee pots. All of our guest rooms come complete with Keurig Coffee makers rather than coffee pots, which maybe why the guest service agent you spoke with responded...

I was at the Lodge for a course for three nights and loved the setting. The countryside is beautiful, one of the most charming and serene places that I have ever visited. There are a multitude of trails in behind the Lodge, great for hiking or mountain biking in the Spring to Fall. The gardens and pastures are idyllic. The...

I've had a long relationship with the Trapp Lodge. I used to have a time share there in the 90's, then sold it when my wife and I parted, but just returned after 14 years. Trapp is a beautiful as ever. Originally, we got the time share for winter skiing, Mt. Mansfield is nearby and there are miles of cross...

Our family of seven had a wonderful four day stay at the Trapp Family Lodge. The setting is idyllic - it truly reminded me of Austria. The service is great, and the food is amazing. We didn't even leave the property for four days and had a wonderful time during the plan activities as well as hiking, swimming, and exploring...

My husband and I stayed for one night during a trip around New England this August. The scenery and location are wonderful. I was a little disappointed by the 'luke warm' welcome we received compared with all the other hotels we had stayed in. I agree with a previous poster about breakfast service. We were constantly reminded by staff that...

The Trapp family Lodge sits in an idyllic and beautiful setting. We loved the views of the green mountains, walking around on the trails, and enjoying all the beautiful flowers and gardens. We did not sleep in the hotel but really enjoyed visiting it, having seen "The Sound of Music" often.
