Staying at the Royalton Bed and Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Evelyn greeted me at the time that I said I would arrive and showed me around her lovely home. The home, if I remember correctly, was built around 1840 and as a guest, I felt right at home and enjoyed hearing more about the history of the home and...

Stayed there one night and just loved everything Evelyn offered. Can't wait to visit again. I recommend this place to anyone. She made sure that she accommodated my wife's food alergies when she made breakfast. Late night on the porch watching the sunset was just fantastic.

Evelyn is a very gracious and accommodating hostess! She gave us several pointers as far as tourism went, and accommodated our dietary needs due to allergies! Great stay! Beautiful property! We would highly recommend this B&B to family and friends!

We had come to Vermont from Arizona for a friend's wedding... And were beyond overcome with the beauty and comfort of the area and people. Evelyn's home was comfortable and very welcoming. With all the comforts of home and the hospitality that you often find only with family! Thank you for making our first B & B experience unforgettable.

Evelyn is a lovely person whose home is a gorgeous, traditional Vermont farmhouse. Every morning you get a taste of her fabulous quiches or frittatas that she sells at the local farmers markets. The house always smells of pies, quiche, jams or some other wonderful thing she's making. The photos simply can't do the property justice. Rooms were larger than...

Evelyn was a great host, her son was there to welcome me when I arrived as she herself was at the local Farmers Market in South Royalton with her scrumptious quiches and pies. Shopping in the Co-op on my way to Evelyn’s, I was told she was a wonderful cook – a great start to my five-night stay while I...

The Royalton B&B is nestled amid 130 acres of beautiful Vermont fields and forest and I arrived at this historic farmhouse in Royalton, VT just as the fall foliage was starting to peak. Proprietor Evelyn Saenz welcomes guests to her large, ancestral family home that was built in the 1840's by her great, great, great grandfather, Daniel Rix, with beautiful...

Arriving tired and late, I was warmly welcomed by proprietor Evelyn. The bed was so comfortable and the room and furnishings antique, artistic, comfortable and clean. What an amazing spot, surrounded by green, open fields and antique barns. I could have spent days with Evelyn and not been bored! Her home-made quiche was delicious. Thumbs up!!

My partner and I needed a place to stay on short notice near South Royalton and were fortunate enough to find Evelyn and her historic homesite. This was so much better than driving to Lebanon and staying in a Residence Inn -- our other option! We enjoyed two nights and wonderful breakfasts, one made by Evelyn and the other by...

A wonderful welcome to the state and ideal start for Vermont law school students and parents. My son and I were arriving short notice at the South Royalton b&b. Evelyn and her wonderful daughters integrated us in their household and routine. If it had not been for the school we would just love to be here on vacation :)

“In the heat of the summer a downstairs room is the comfortable option as the house does not have air conditioning”

“All of the rooms are lovely and attractively furnished. All but one of the guest bedrooms are are the second floor, so if you are unable to climb a flight of stairs (or if you're traveling with someone who is), be sure to let Evelyn know when you call for a reservation to see whether the one main floor room is available to reserve. Also note that the Royalton B&B is not handicapped accessible.”
