We stayed at the Quiet Valley B&B and it was wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, the hosts are so welcoming and gracious. The breakfast was top-notch- fresh fruit, delicious pancakes, tea and coffee. We took a walk through a huge meadow filled with windflowers and just enjoyed the peace and tranquility this B&B has to offer. We hope we can... More

Quiet Valley B & B sits on fifty prime acres with unobstructed views of hundreds of acres of beautiful Vermont countryside. We slept soundly in comfortable beds in rooms adorned with appealing colonial furniture. Our hosts, Bruce and Jane, could not have been nicer. Bruce cheerfully welcomed us at the door even though we arrived very late at night (due... More

I have been to most places in and around Middlebury, but finally settled for this one which we kept coming back to. Place is simple and cozy. Hosts have opened their house to much needed lodging for Middlebury College events. We loved the warmth and the company. And the breakfasts were always great.

I look forward to my next visit to this cozy welcoming inn. I enjoyed a great night sleep in a cozy bed and woke to a beautiful view, delicious breakfast (next to a wood burning stove), great conversation, and a bottomless coffee cup... I couldn't ask for more. Jane and Bruce were the most kind, generous and inviting inn keepers... More

I stayed two nights at Quiet Valley, and by the second afternoon could not wait to get back "home" for the evening. Quiet Valley B&B lives up to its name, with not another house in sight. The greens, the rolling hills, the distant mountains, spectacular birdsong in the morning, the purple martins in the meadow, the creek at the foot... More

I had an extra night before a conference in Lake Placid and had the opportunity to spend it at Quiet Valley. Jane and Bruce could not have been more gracious and welcoming. From the hot tea on a rainy afternoon, the sweet cozy bedroom, the locally made soaps in the bath and the hearty, healthy breakfast were just what this... More

We chose Quiet Valley Bed and Breakfast on the recommendation of friends who had stayed there before. The setting was quintessential Vermont-Country: peaceful and beautiful. Our room and bath were clean and comfortable, and our hosts most hospitable. Jane cooks a lovely breakfast every morning. Late afternoon, we were served tea in the living room, looking out on the spectacular... More
