I highly recommend the Bentley House. It's a very characterful and charming space, and the hosts are extremely kind and hospitable. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. Pretty much perfect for a trip to Vermont.

We stayed there for 3 nights in late July. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Blue Room, a small but comfortable room. Pam went out of her way to ensure that the breakfast was to our liking. The location is central and convenient to the town's services. We were delighted to see a sign saying 'Croeso'...

Stayed here when we picked up our girls from summer camp at the nearby Green Mountain College. Lovely gem of an inn with 2 fabulous inn-keepers. They couldn't be more helpful and Pam makes an incredible breakfast. Short walk to the college and the town of Poulney is small and sweet. Would definitely stay there again.

Our first visit to the Poultney area will be remembered primarily because of our stay at the Bentley House. The home is beautifully and lovingly decorated, inside and out. Each guest room is uniquely appointed. Pam and Rich go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, greeting guests at the door on first arrival. Loved sitting on the...

Stayed at the Bentley House on a recent trip to Poultney. Everything was wonderful. The breakfast was fantastic. Pam and Rich were great hosts. I am already looking forward to a return stay. The price was very reasonable, especially when you factor in the incredible breakfast. One of the highlights of my trip to Poultney.

At the end of a long day of driving from south Vermont to Burlington, we were relieved to find Bentley House in Poultney. We were welcomed by both Rich and Pam and shown the Blue room, which proved to be very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The house is an amazing example of historical architecture of the region and Pam...

Pam and Rich took great care of all of the guests. I will definitely stay there again, if in Poultney. If you're there for Green Mtn College,...
