What a disgusting experience. I suffered a severe medical emergency preventing me from visiting and despite being able to provide a note from a doctor, management refused to give me even a partial refund. What kind of place does that? I've never encountered some horrendous customer service.

Booked a ski-on/ski-off room last minute. Really great spot - we snowboarded right down to the lift in the morning and could come back to the room for lunch and when we were done for the day. Parking is ample and convenient. Best part of the trip was the service - I think Rob (who seems like the owner if I had to guess) is the nicest person in the state of Vermont. We had pleasant interactions with other staff as well. Room felt a little outdated and could have been cleaner, but there was nothing major to complain about.

We stayed at Lodge at Bromley over Presidents week. We loved it! The greatest thing about it is it’s location. We stayed in one of the ski in/out rooms, and all we had to do was pop on our skis and ski down to the quad that goes to the top. It was great to be able to eat lunch in our room, warm up, and then hit the slopes. The staff was super accommodating, and friendly. The lobby had a warm fire, lots of seating and games, including a pool table. There is a kids room downstairs with video games, a ping pong table, etc, (although we couldn’t not get the wii game to work, but we we too lazy to go up and ask for help.) The breakfast in the morning was continental style (no meat, eggs, etc.) but offered enough to satisfy our family. We loved the retro look and welcoming atmosphere. It was quiet and nice to ski back to. The room was also very clean, and the beds were comfy. We will definitely be back! Our only complaint is that the room was too hot, and we couldn’t regulate the temp.

This is the best place to stay around Bromley for convenience and value. I do not hesitate to recommend it especially for families, due to the close lift proximity and the ski storage and changing area downstairs. The game room is a big plus. On the possible improvement side, the bar area is an underutilized asset as evidenced by the lack of patronage. There is a limited and poor beer selection which is odd for a state so well known for quality beer brewing. The other thing that really should be corrected is they don’t have an ice machine. I literally have never stayed at a motel or hotel without one until Bromley Lodge. Yet they have ice buckets in the rooms? So there are some quirks but really at the end of the day I would still be staying there before anywhere else when in the area and I do like it.

While the cancellation policy is very clear, I have had many other resorts make exceptions for emergencies. My daughter was hospitalized with appendicitis and they wouldn't make an exception and wouldn't let me reschedule. I spoke to a manager and no wiggle room. I've never seen this happen before.
