We like to stay at B&B's when we travel for the homelike atmosphere they provide. I can't recommend enough the High Hill Inn. Joe and Ann Marie are terrific hosts. They are so nice, and the property is in such a beautiful setting. Our bedroom was very roomy, clean, very well appointed, and had a great view of the mountains....

While taking a fall foliage trip, we came across a real, true, diamond in the rough. The High Hill Inn was so much more than we ever imagined. The innkeepers were delightful, courteous and friendly. We woke up to a stunning view of the mountains as we soaked in the natural beauty of the inn. The bedroom was well furnished...

We had a short but pleasant stay with Anne-Marie and Joe. They had lots of information about the area, including suggestions for good places to have dinner. The room was luxuriously big, and so nice and quiet. We felt really welcome and comfortable there!

We stayed at the High Hill Inn to explore Burlington, Montpelier, and see the leaves change. The room was clean and comfortable. Joe and Ann Marie were great hosts, providing excellent recommendations for activities nearby and a delicious farm fresh breakfast. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend this inn to a friend.

Our hosts were kind and welcoming, they also provided recommendations for places to eat and things to do in MontPelier and around. We would definitely go back there and recommend it...

Breakfasts were hand-made every morning by the Dixons. We wanted to just stay at the inn the entire time the surroundings were so beautiful. Monpelier is...

We travelled as two couples to Vermont in October and stayed at this lovely house just outside the State Capital, Montpelier. The host Joe and Ann-Marie were most welcoming and made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived. They were extremely helpful with their recommendations and making reservations on our behalf. Joe made us lovely cooked breakfasts and...

We stayed in different rooms on successive nights. The loft room is quite private and will accommodate children. There's a wonderful view from the balcony too. The "green" room has a standard double bed and shares a bathroom with another room on the second floor. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, toast, yogurt, fruit compote, and granola. We enjoyed the company of...

We had a nice, big room with a kingbed overlooking lots of trees ( but the weather wasn't that great ) and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. ( which we didn't try ) We slept so well, which we really appreciated! Had great coffee ( the best so far on our 2,5 week vacation ) and a chat on arrival....

My wife and I stayed here for a night on our way to the White Mountains to explore Montpelier. We stayed in the loft room with the private balcony and had a spectacular view of the country! Very clean, cool room. We loved the farm animals hanging around outside. Our hosts Joe and Ann-Marie were very friendly and easy to...
