For five nights I stayed at Capitol Plaza. I loved the staff because they would go that extra mile to make sure what you needed for your stay was met. My room was so comfy and had great view. Steakhouse 😋 👍

Pleasant rooms. Efficient upgraded baths and TVs. Great restaurant in the hotel. Great menu breakfast lunch and diner. Limited seating at certain time so call ahead. Other nice restaurants within walking distance.

Capitol Plaza is an ordinary hotel, no surprises and no WOW factor. Great location, close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room had a lovely view…of the parking lot. Not many electrical outlets, so bring a power strip. Thin walls, also bring your earplugs. You’re not able to control the water temperature in the shower very well; it rotates...

The only complaint I had was the inconsistency of the housekeepers. Sometimes they left bottled water, sometimes they did not. Sometimes they left chocolate, sometimes they did not. If they never left it you would know to bring your own. If they always left it you knew you could rely on it.

We traveled the month of 9/15 to 10/14 and found Vermont a beautiful state with history that is not all in books. Our stay in Montpelier was great and Capitol Plaza was wonderful. We had dinner in their restaurant, which is world class and very much enjoyed the experience. The hotel itself is an historical event. The hotel was easy...

Our stay at the Capitol Plaza was great! Nice size room, very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was amazing! We were there for a wedding and it was a great time all around! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Central Vermont area.

Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. You can leave your care in the free parking and not need it till you leave town. So many walkable options to great dining and shopping options.

Atrocious service in the adjacent restaurant where we had to wait 45 minutes for breakfast even when the servers knew we were in a hurry. Inflexible and arrogant: they refused to take breakfast orders until they had taken orders for beverages, which means orange juice and coffee, thereby wasting 10-15 minutes. Same thing at dinner. We were a group of...

Hi Lothlorien18, We have enjoyed having your group stay with us for many years. All of our staff tries very hard to provide a high level of service. The staff in the restaurant for breakfast was relatively new and inexperienced and unfortunately, did not provide the high level of service that is expected. In addition, due to the manner of...

Charming hotel. Clean room. Friendly helpful front desk. Room was, however, very pricey. It was well above my price range but I would stay there again if I got a good deal or had a coupon. That being said, I slept well (even if we were only there for 6 hours!)
