I wanted to take a moment and compliment this hotel on all aspects. The Kimpton brand already has a great reputation offering great accommodations and convenient locations. However, as a world traveler most chains offer similar product to their brands. To me customer service makes the difference if I will be returning to a particular location. I have to say that every associate in this location is expertly trained and the connection they have with their guests is extraordinary. A special call out to Derek, their front desk manager. Always attentive to my needs and a genuine attitude in enjoying what he does. His polite approach and the care he projects to the people around him makes this location my top pick. Thank you to the entire staff in this location !

This was our 4th stay at the Kimpton Taconic. We absolutely love it! Staff is outstanding, always friendly, professional and courteous. Amenities are great as is the Copper Grouse on premises. Rooms are very tastefully decorated and always sparkling clean. Thanks, as always, for a peaceful, relaxing stay!

Top of the line “suite” is just a normal size room. Regular King is tiny. There’s no cleaning while staying at the hotel. Toilet was filthy, they explain limited service by COVID regulations, I believe. However, I don’t think there’s a discount for that. Restaurant is the worst part. Room service Cosmopolitan cost me $26 delivered in a plastic cup. Service at the restaurant called Copper Grouse was the lowest point of our trip. The head waiter or whoever that person who greets guests kept making sarcastic remarks like: “we are trying to be better than New York”. Or not having restaurant menus even disposable ones, was because of COVID-19, he asked us if we’ve heard of it. So much for hospitality. Their top of the line room did not even have a desk for me to set my laptop on... though the stuff did find me something that looked like it was pulled from the dump. They were friendly enough. I give Kimpton Taconic a whole star for that!…

The staff at the Kimpton Taconic really took care of us on our trip. They were always happy and super helpful with all of our requests. Our car ended up getting stuck in a snowbank and were worried about our dogs and they even offered to take them for a walk! They helped make a stressful ordeal a lot less stressful, even when dealing with a full hotel. Can't recommend enough!
