Back for another stay at this splendid hybrid motel/B&B, run by a delightful, low-keyed couple. The rooms are good-sized and quiet. Each room has not one, but two good reading chairs. Beds are excellent. Wifi is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. Best of all are the views, of the rolling Vermont hills. Though this establishment is on a rural highway (Route...

We have stayed at the North Shire Lodge in Manchester, VT for the 4th year in a row. We love it there. There is a large field for the kids to play. There is also an outdoor pool which we have all enjoyed. Kerry and Tim also offer dinner several nights during the week (by reservation only) which they prepare...

I've been staying here for 3 years now during the Vermont Summer Festival. Why? I like the low rates, hot breakfast, free dvd selection, nice bedding, cleanliness, lovely pool, views and quiet as it is a few miles south of the town. Most of all I always enjoy one of Tim's 145 martini choices and pub burgers in their little,...

The beds are incredibly comfortable, best sleep ever. And the rooms are spotless !!!! The breakfast Kerry serves is individually prepared to perfection....

Located just a short drive outside Manchester, Vermont - one of Vermont's lovliest towns - the North Shire Lodge provided fine accommodations at a very fair price. And an excellent breakfast. You'll pay a lot more the closer you get to town but this well-run, well-maintained attractive facility will do just fine for a short-term visit. Very friendly hosts and...

We stayed three nights here, and had a great relaxing time. The room was big, light and clean with a beautiful view, the beds were comfortable and breakfast were delicious. Strangely the place was almost empty, so we had the pool for our selves.

We were passing through Vermont and found a wonderful place to stay. We had a great night sleep....loved the high ceilings and view. The outdoor space gave you room to stretch. We were treated to blueberry pancakes for breakfast in the comfortable and cozy pub.
