the rooms were clean but a little on the small side compared to a lot of places today. the price for off season was a little high for what you got. it was a very quiet place and the bed was quite comfy. I guess I just have been to a few nicer places that offered a little more for... More

My family drove up from New York and arrived so late that I couldn't find a gas station open that had diesel fuel. The truck literally died as we pulled into the Aspen. The owner welcomed us and after a good laugh, said he would help with the fuel in the morning. After a great nights sleep in the cozy... More

The people are friendly, right down to the cleaning staff. The rooms are a little outdated, but clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Not right in the business traffic but very close, even walking distance to outlet stores and restaurants. We love the pool and they have games outside, like badmitten that the whole family can enjoy. The property... More

This is a very convenient motel for the Manchester Horse Show. In between the horse show and downtown. The rooms are a bit old, but kept clean with flatscreen TVs. All in all, this is a typical Vermont experience. The pool was nice and the upkeep was better than average. One of the challenges is that you have to reserve... More

We stayed at the Aspen for the weekend. The grounds were beautiful and impeccably maintained. A number of very colorful flower beds dot the property as do flower beds in front of each building and colorful hanging pots. Each room has a pair of chairs right outside the door and look onto the grounds. It made for a great spot... More

We had a very nice stay (2 nights) in the Aspen. Very comfortable room, with a very nice host. Quality and the space of the room was very good. Plenty of parking place (just before the room). Nice swimming pool, surrounded by a nice garden.

We stayed 2 nights. Our teens had their own room 3 doors away. Grounds are beautiful, and quiet. We had a room with a queen bed, room had a coffee maker, and a rocking chair, plus 2 other comfortable chairs. Motel was close to shops and restaurants.

Very nicely kept and convenient location. The grounds are lovely; the rooms are clean with a lot of New England charm. On the downside, the bath towels are fairly small and they aren't really all that happy to give you extras. The pool area is beautiful, but they shut it down promptly at 9 PM - so they are not... The room we stayed in was very nice, large and felt homey. We sat outside for a while in comfy chairs. While there is almost zero view of the beautiful mountains around it was still an amazing night. The price was right and we would definitely stay here again.

Our family prefers to stay at family motels and this is a really good one. It is impeccably maintained and clean with a friendly staff. You can walk into there village of Manchester with sidewalks the entire way. A really affordable and special motel.
