We were on our way to look over a condo on Okemo mountainside. We called Sams Steakhouse to see if there was a motel close by for the evening. Great reccomendation from the hostess with Timber inn motel right across the street. Donna was very helpful getting us checked in on the phone.Good price for Nice newly remodeled room. Only...

Thanks for your kind words. Sam's Steakhouse is great for dinner and Cafe at deLight up the road towards Okemo is a good stop for a quick, hearty b'fast. If you missed it, next time have the French toast made with the cinnamon raisin bread from Baba A Louis bakery in Chester, VT -- with the real VT maple syrup,...

My wife and I stayed here for a night on a two week trip through Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Room was basic, but very clean, and average in size. It was the most expensive room we had in two weeks, required a payment in advance, and offered the fewest amenities. Nothing really wongr but not worth the price. No...

Our last visit to the Timber Inn in Ludlow VT was so awesome, that my family decided to do it again this summer. The rooms are comfortable and renovated. The owners and staff are very friendly and totally helpful. So much to do nearby, Buttermilk Falls, and all kinds of activities at the mountain. We also hiked up to a...

Just spent a week at Timber Inn. The most important thing for us is cleanliness. Our room was very clean, the sheets & towels were clean. The room was spacious. Pool was not real big but clean. The owner was friendly and helpful. The town had a power outage while there and he brought us candles (only needed to use...

We stayed in one of their newer renovated Queen Suites for two nights. Our big thing is clean and we were very happy with how new and clean our room was. It was a great size for 2 adults and 1 child had space for another child easily. We were nit there long, but used the pool twice. It is...

My husband and I were meeting up with family friends to ski at Okemo this February. Our family was paying a lot of money to stay right on the mountain base in Jackson Gore at Okemo, but I had no interest in paying so much for a weekend trip and searched for a cheaper alternative. There were many, but we...

I booked a room short notice for a little ski trip with friends. They gave us their ski'n'stay package even though we only stayed one night (every other place in town required a two night minimum stay). Since we were driving up early, Glen (the proprietor) did us the courtesy of leaving our lift passes outside the office for us...

My boyfriend and I drove up to Ludlow for a weekend of skiing/snowboarding at Okemo and booked two nights at the Timber Inn Motel. It was very comfortable and clean--looked like it was updated recently--and was about five minutes from the mountain (we had a car, but you could take a shuttle). The couple that owns it gave us great...

I went with a bunch of friends to Timber Inn Motel for a ski getaway weekend and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect as it was right near Okemo and had a shuttle pick us up to get to the mountain. Skiing and snowmobiling are close to the motel along with a great sledding recommendation from the staff....

Have stayed here once before, several years ago, and gave it good ratings. It's still as good as I remembered it. Here's what's good about it: 1. Nice rooms with knotty pine ceilings and 'timber' headboards 2. Excellent WiFi/Internet connectivity 3. You can walk across the street to have dinner at Sam's Steakhouse, one of the better restaurants in town...
