4 stars for a 2 star motel. I stayed here 2 nights for a solo weekend ski trip. The room did have an old smell to it but it was clean and the bed was comfy. Room had a mini fridge and microwave which comes in handy. The free continental breakfast consisted of all the basics: bagels, toast, yogurts, cold...

Their website is so condescending. They claim to have a continental breakfast which consists of stale coffee and bagels. It was so hot in our room we slept with the windows open with no option to turn down the heat. The water in the sink came out dripping, no pressure whatsoever. This place is way overpriced. Only good thing is...

A perfect place if you are looking for a basic room with a clean bed, bathroom, and television/wifi. The location is great and next door to a great restaurant. The Motel Manager is a husband and wife who were very nice. They even mailed bak my son's sneakers which he left in the room.

Simple, clean and within walking distance of some mountain hotspots. Park in front of your room. If all you need is a warm bed and hot shower, staying here meets those requirements and also is budget friendly.

Great location, but.... the management is not friendly, the bedding is truely ancient, and the rooms are overall dirty. I booked our room on Priceline. I booked a room with two double beds for 2 nights for myself, my husband, and my sister. No where on the website did it ask me how many people were staying in the room....

Okay Motel. Clean and located close to mountain and restaurants. Beds could use replacing. Breakfast was not as good as some other places near bye. Cold cereal, mini beagles, orange juice, yogurt and coffee. Fair price for a good location.

The customer service was great. Very clean (although dated furniture). I would stay again -the price was good. Reason for 3 stars. Breakfast could be earlier since the mountain opens at 8. It is noisy ( maybe the room we had) maybe the bad luck in our fellow travelers) but that is the risk with a reasonably priced room in...

I stayed at Happy Bear in August for motorcycle rally, so not ski season or heating season. Owners were friendly, helpful, hospitable. Motel is old, but that's both good and bad: Mattress was lumpy and I could feel springs; hot water spigot in bathroom didn't work. But the windows open and close, how wonderful! Especially important because housekeeper sprays LOTS...

Stayed in February for a concert at The Pickle Barrel, directly across the street so we did not have to drive (or find a dd after cocktails) and several places within walking distance to have dinner. Not fancy but clean and impressed our room even had a mini fridge!

We had a great weekend up at Killington. The Happy Bear Motel was a very convenient location to all of our destinations throughout the weekend. It is located right on the access road and we were able to walk to a few restaurants or drive only a short distance. This motel is a bit outdated and you can hear everything...
