Good location, but rooms need deep cleaning and major upkeep and maintenance. Clogged and filthy bathtub, holes in the wall and closet, splattered food or liquid on the walls and ceiling, burn marks on the lampshade.
This is our third stay at Killington Mountain Lodge. The best things about the lodge are the comfortable guest rooms: comfortable beds; convenient mini refrigerators; large TV with cable; great internet; large common areas to lounge by the massive fireplaces. I have observed a lot of people who enjoy the outdoor oversized hot tub. Location is perfect. Price is reasonable. Common pool table...although it can use some attention. Bar on second floor was a warm and added plus as well as being able to order food. The breakfast buffet was the best I have seen with plenty of comfortable seating. Fresh cookies were put out in the common area in the evenings. These services were not available now. I hope that the second floor bar will be back in business and more importantly the best breakfast buffet reinstated (This was a great breakfast buffet) Not sure if this was due to COVID or the sale of the property. The bathrooms could use some updating eventually, but in my opinion, should not be an issue for the amenities and price of this lovely hotel. Again, I hope the amenities will remain the same at the same price with the new owners.…
This hotel is pretty average. Rooms, carpeting, fixtures, pretty tired. What is good is the location. Right on the mountain road, near restaurants and ski shops. Peak Performance is nearby. If you walk, just be careful crossing the mountain road. Some cars go very fast. The hot tub is pretty nice and large. The fire pit is nearby, too. This is a Hilton property. I have yet to visit one that has the same standards as Marriott. Just not the same. The lobby is quite nice. Very Vermont.
We couldn’t believe the condition of our room. We asked at the desk and were told it was one of the best rooms. Water damage on walls. Missing tile in bathroom. Stained, rusted, and disgusting toilet. Furniture with damage and mismatched repairs. There was even a door missing. Place for hinges still visible just no door on the bedroom. I can’t believe Hilton puts their name on this location. It should just be closed until it can be repaired. We would have just left and gone back home but had spent so much on prepaid skiing and activities we just couldn’t leave and lose all we had paid. I have plenty of pictures to post if I can find a way.
Had a great stay and enjoyed skiing at Killington ski resort. The lodge has a wonderful lobby with a huge fireplace. Outside is a heated pool and fire pit. Staff was super nice n helpful. Unfortunately, no restaurant or bar service due to Covid.
