On day 3 I knew we would be back next year...yes, it was that good. It was peaceful when you wanted it to be and super sociable when that was what you wanted. The guests and staff were so nice and the food was great. The kids loved their camp and counselors and we loved all of the adult activities...

Thank you for your wonderful review! It's great to hear that you were each able to participate in the activities you preferred, and fit in some social time and relaxation too. And of course it's always nice to hear that the cocktails didn't hurt! We look forward to having you back next summer. Best, Caitlin TP Marketing

Yes, the Tyler Place is as good as the reviews say it is. We have been going for four straight years now and plan on returning. It's three vacations in one: 1) Parents get their adult and adventure time; 2) Kids get their activity time; and 3) Families get their family time. The one-on-ones (like a nanny or "mother's helper")...

We finally beat the wait list, and got into this well-desired family resort for the week and cottage we hoped for. Unknown to what our vacation would be, we were instantaneously astonished how this resort was operating. Upon checking-in there was slight glitch in our reservation, and without hesitation the staff ensured all would be fixed within the hour, guaranteed....

Our family has been going for a decade, so obviously there is a lot we like about Tyler Place. We have had a great time, and the kids love it. It feels like our home away from home at this point. Like anything else, there are pluses and minuses. How well TP fits for each family depends on the family....

Hi Stew987 - thank you for your detailed review and interesting observations about the resort! It's always helpful for us to hear what our guests have to say - especially those who have been coming for many years and know the ins-and-outs of TP, are comfortable with the balance of family time & kids' programs, etc. We appreciate your feedback...

We were nervous. It was an expensive vacation and one that looked like socializing was critical. To my introverted husband, it seemed like it could be a week of awkward, uncomfortable conversations with strangers. I'll never forget driving in for the first time, watching kids and families on bikes converging on the road to the inn, laughing and waving to...

We traveled for the first time to the Tyler Place not really knowing what to expect but deciding to take chance in early July 2013. The first night my three kids, ages 9, 6 and almost 3 went off to their groups while my husband I walked into that first cocktail party. Within minutes were were talking to a couple...

The week were at Tyler Place 51 of the 70 families were returning, many for 5 or 10 years in a row. The clientele is composed of very friendly doctors, lawyers, and Indian chiefs -- with their kids. The 20 adult only meals were as good as you can possibly get in a buffet. Your kids have so much fun...

This place is special. The staff are so wonderful, joyful and exude fun and excitement. The camp program is something my 9 year old was not too excited about, but after about 5 minutes he changed his mind. He is now saying that we must return next year. This place is where memories are created, not a typical vacation spot...
