The Grafton Inn was everything we hoped it would be. The building and setting in the village is stunning, in the main part of the village all the over head cables have been removed so the streets are neat and uncluttered. The wonderful and enthusiastic welcome we received on arrival continued throughout our stay. The staff were so delightful, nothing...

We were delighted with the Grafton Inn and warmly welcomed at the front desk. Our room was immaculate and extremely comfortable and we were looking forward to the promised 'dining experience.' And what an experience it was. In spite of having made a reservation, once we were shown to our table and given some tap water we were abandoned. The...

We'd like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest apologies for the extremely poor dining experiences that you and those in your party were subjected to. There clearly is no excuse for the rudeness and lack of proper attention that you received. We hope that you will accept our apologies for all of the frustration that we caused. Please...

The Inn itself was beautiful, set in a very small village. Food was amazing and accommodations were lovely. Staff very friendly, the only complaint would be to tell guests that if their is a wedding being held that evening that a reservations is necessary and not just requested. When we went to get dinner we did have to wait for...

A one night stop on our way to a wedding in New Hampshire couldn't have been more wonderful. We were warmly greeted with iced tea and cookies in the beautiful lobby. The town was fun to explore on foot, with a stop in the "general store" where we met some interesting town people. We loved our room. It had everything...

A beautiful historic property in the hills of southern Vermont. The perfect place to just relax, unwind, and enjoy the view! A lovely breakfast is included with your room rate, and a pub is on the property and open for dinner starting Wednesday-Sunday. Be sure to check out the wine and cheese shop and Mack's, a great place for lunch!

This is a lovely old inn. It is in a beautiful and charming small town, lush and green, in the middle of spectacular countryside. The inn seems well cared for although my room was not the greatest -- very small, the chairs had no springs left so you really couldn't sit in them. I did visit friends who were in...

This fine old establishment has the charm and appeal of Colonial Williamsburg. By old I do not mean outdated, but a well kept historic building. The staff were friendly and quick to accommodate. There are period antiques throughout. The rooms are kept up with great care. Our bed was comfortable. The rooms have central air which was welcome on a...

This is a very pretty hotel with very comfortable rooms in a very nice tiny town. There is a nice pond to swim in and there are a few cute places to eat in the town, as well as a cheese company. We came for a wedding and this was a wonderful place to stay. They allow dogs in certain...

Once again had the opportunity to enjoy this little gem in my favorite State of Vermont! After way too much rain here in New England, we lucked out with two beautiful sunny days at the Inn. Grafton is a very special place, peaceful, serene, friendly and happy. That describes the town, the folks at the Inn, the help at the...
