I've been a life-long outdoor sports enthusiast and the Craftsbury Outdoor Center has it all! I thoroughly enjoyed the center's remoteness and the amazingly friendly and helpful staff made one feel extremely welcome. On this day, the cross country ski trails were perfectly groomed, the sky perfectly blue and in this, my first ever visit, I found the trails to...

The opposite of fancy downhill ski malls, I mean, mountains. Been going here for years and like the remote, rural, snowy location, hearty, family style dining, casual lodging, and friendly trails. The new ski lodge/gym center is nice, LEED certified, but still casual and homey. The older cabins and lodge/dorm rooms/suites can be a bit funky sometimes but are fun...

This is an excellent XC center, especially if you like scratching your head at the lack of signage on some of the trails - but if you're adventurous and don't mind a bit of backtracking, I'd recommend it highly

We love this place, have been going for years, and look forward to many more. It's an old school that has been renovated into dorms, a state-of-the-art fitness center and rental shop (XC skiing and biking gear), and an incredible selection of outdoor activities. Hosimer pond offers incredible sculling, where you can train and be coaching by olympic level athletes....

Everything about Craftsbury is great: the food, the sleeping, and the skiing (when there's snow). Over Thanksgiving, I went, and although there was minimal snow, I still had a good experience. All around wonderful place, but I would only recommend it if you are a skier.

sculling camp with friends is the way to go. My first time out and they were so helpful with teaching, reviewing, and helping all of us learn to scull. Best food ever and a very friendly staff!! this is a small slice of heaven!

I absolutely love this place. I went solo for sculling coaching and spent the week hanging out with a great group of fellow "campers", one of whom is now one of my best friends. The atmosphere is great, the water is fantastic and SOOO CLEAN. The air smells soooo clean as well. I thought the food was ok and not...

We come here every year for a four night ski vacation. This was my third year, however, my in-laws and wife have been coming for nearly 15 years. While the winter in New England this year has been dismal, it was still fun to spend a few days here. Our first two days there was approximately 20km of skiing open...

Great food. Dining hall style allows intermingling with other guests and some of the athletes that live there. Great skiing and Nordic trails. Nice but not fancy rooms. Great attitude from all the staff. I want to go back!

The hiking is superb, canoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, just enjoying the scenery. The food is delicious, plentiful, and innovative. The staff is first rate. This is a camp atmosphere and it is restful and fun. Lots to see and do in the area.
