During the Inn to inn hike, Old Town was I think our third inn. We were so tired and greeted by the innkeeper - with a beautiful smile, ice cold water and a bowl of fruit. The inn was so peaceful and calm - we sat by the pond on a beautiful September evening - in the Adirondack chairs, just...

We stayed at a nearby B&B and were looking for Sushi/Japanese Cuisine.. The To Kai Te restaurant at The Old Town Farm Inn was highly recommended. The owners were wonderful and the service and food were outstanding. Great quality, fresh sushi, teriyaki beef, edemame and ginger salads. Can't wait to come back! Thanks for a great evening.

We stayed here one evening and had called ahead to have dinner. It's a unique place - the proprietors order in great fish and make inventive, excellent sushi. It's perhaps the bargain of the century - awesome sushi that exceeds what one gets in most large cities at prices that are rural Vermont. Their inn is also quite nice -...

We had been on a houseboat for 7 days and we needed a good bed. Old Town really met that need. The owners were awesome. We had chamomile tea and went straight to bed. There is road noise but we put on the fan on our window unit and heard nothing. Like one of the reviewers said, it is basic...

Exactly what you would hope to find nested in the Vermontee mountains! It is family run and the owners take genuine pride in their work. The food was delicious and the breakfast was simple and filling, so it was easy to eat early in the morning. One of our fellow guests was raving about the steak entree which was marinated...

This is a fantastic inn. The owners are extremely accommodating, the room was just what we needed for three of us and our dog. Keep in mind this rural Vermont and so expect the appropriate fixtures and fittings which are all perfectly adequate. A real bonus here is that Michiko does Japanese dinners in the evening and if you can...

This was the last inn on my Inn to Inn Walking Tour. I really looked forward to it because I had heard ahead of time about Alex and Michiko's fabulous cooking. It was absolutely all that and more!! They were extremely accommodating in cooking anything we asked for - even if we just wanted to "taste" something! Delicious! The house...

A friend and I stayed here as part of the Inn-to-Inn Walking tour. This was, by far, the best inn of the 4 we stayed at. The innkeepers, a kind and generous couple, were extremely welcoming and the food was unbelievable. The rooms were simple-but that is not what being in an inn is about-it is about feeling part of...

“We stayed in one of of the front rooms that other people have said is loud. There was some noise from cars going by during the night, but it really wasn't so bad. It was a great set up for our family since there was a separate room with two twins.”
