We came across this rambling cozy inn one presidents weekend a few years ago kind of by accident since everything else was sold out. Just finished our 3rd visit back since then. We were welcomed by the warmth of hosts Edie and Chuck and with no expectations we were happy to find a beautiful unique room and private bath that...

We booked our trip to VT via Inn to Inn, and I'm so glad we did. Our stays at the inns included dinner, and dinner is not something I would have wanted to miss at October Country! Chuck's incredible dinners started with soup, amazing entrees, perfectly dressed greens, local artisan bread, desserts to die for. Breakfasts were delicious, with a...

October Country Inn is owned and managed by caring Inn keepers. I have stayed here three times and just love it. It almost feels like coming home. What I love - the food (amazing!), the innkeepers (warm and interesting), the property filled with flowers, a pool, and places to sit, relax, and slow down. I also enjoy the common areas...

Edie and Chuck are wonderful hosts at this charming inn in a beautiful location. There were thoughtful touches throughout, such as coffee served in mugs from their huge selection. The food was delicious. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Chuck offered great hiking suggestions. We can't wait for an opportunity to return!

My bride of 13 years and I were so looking forward to our trip to Vermont, since we had not returned since our honeymoon. The October Country Inn is such a delight, and reflects everything positive about a Vermont stay. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were fantastic. I have had the pleasure to stay at October Inn on several occasions. This should be explanation enough that this Inn is amazing or I wouldn't keep coming back. Edie and Chuck are amazing innkeepers. The grounds invite you to explore nature at its finest. The pool is refreshing after a long ride on our motorcycle. Right across the street...

We are looking for a place to retire, so we wanted to get a good feel for Vermont. Chuck gave us great suggestions on what roads to travel to really get a feel for Vermont's natural beauty. Edie followed up with assurances that things like health care were available. We had a very productive trip, thanks too these two!
