My husband and I chose this B & B based on the great reviews. We were there for 3 nights. And for the most part it was a great experience. The location was great for walking into town. My husband found several trails to hike on and did enjoy this. The grounds were nice and the house itself was well kept...

Every aspect was first class. The home is very beautiful. Our room was immaculate and large. All amenities were provided. The downstairs pub is very quaint. The hostess was friendly and most helpful. Her recommendation for a restaurant was just what we were looking for. The grounds are well kept and overlook a beautiful lake. If you are looking for...

We stayed here August 18th through August 20th. The place is very impressive and well maintained. The purpose of the trip was so my husband could visit several breweries in the southern Vermont area. A bonus here on Saturday nights is a beer tasting (for an additional fee) that was very entertaining for us meeting other people that enjoyed good...

Breakfast was a chioce of omelettes and bacon, very tasty. The nicest part was we were able to take part in the 'Beer Tasting' event on the...

My husband and I had the privilege to stay at this wonderful B&B in late May. The property, inn, bedrooms, ambience, location and owners were all fabulous. (You will find one of the largest Japanese Maple trees in the USA right in their backyard!) They have a little "pub" room with brews and wines available. which a nice little spot...

Probably the best place we stayed during our two week trip around New England (including a 5* in New York). Everything in the room was fantastic, including very tasty snacks snacks and very soft bathrobes and sheets. I have since tried to recreate Amy's pancakes, but I don't think I will ever make them as good as she did! Thank...

We recently stayed at the inn during a road trip through Vermont and loved everything about this place. Amy was helpful and friendly (and an amazing chef!) and our room was incredible. The details throughout the inn are amazing - everything from comfy robes (not to mention the sheets - were the softest sheets I've ever experienced), snacks in our...

We had a wonderful stay at this inn - the owners have thought of every detail. The rooms are luxurious and beautifully decorated, water and snacks are provided, toiletries are available. Hosts are highly available, but never hover. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Forty Putney Road was the perfect, quiet retreat for our 20th anniversary. We have always steered clear of B&B's because they just don't seem private enough. This was certainly NOT the case here! We came and went as we pleased, had amazing gourmet breakfasts in a corner by ourselves and enjoyed uninterrupted time in our room, the hot tub and...
