Patti is the hostess with the mostest. Breakfasts were excellent!!!! She was most helpful in directions and fun things to do. She called from a local restaurant to verify a menu item. She offered to go with us to find a location we were having trouble with--when we declined, she called our cell to be sure we were headed in...

The Eddington House Inn was more than we expected. Although it is an Inn, Patti and her family live separate from the main quarters, thereby affording hands on service, yet privacy for their guests. Our room was adorable; the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom just the right size with beautiful fixtures and shower. Breakfast was delicious and the snacks...

Our room was beautiful, the house was beautiful, North Bennington is beautiful. Patti puts out delicious baked goods in the afternoon with a pitcher of ice water, and serves wonderful breakfasts in the morning. (We were there for two days. The first day breakfast was an amazing parfait followed by baked eggs with parmesan and artichoke hearts. The second day...

Love the Eddington. I grew up in Bennington and have usually stayed at small hotels when going back, and sometimes other Inns, and in my experience the Eddington is the best of all of them. It's just a few minutes from downtown main street, and easy to get to. Patty is amazing; she is friendly, a super host and a...

The Eddington House is a lovely spot: well maintained, beautifully appointed and extremely well run. Patti, the owner, lives with her husband in back and is very hands on but also respectful of privacy. The historic home is, as you can see from the pics, beautiful. It is right on the main street but North Bennington is all of about...

We had Suzie's room on the first floor, as the other rooms had gone by the time we booked. It is a lovely room with a private bathroom across the landing & separate sitting room, and was very clean and nicely decorated. The mattress was on the hard side, but OK for us. There was cheese, crackers, snacks & water...

We stayed two nights while we attended Southern Vermont College orientation. The Inn is close to the college and Patti gave us the scenic route to campus which took us over a covered bridge. Breakfast each morning was a real treat and just like other guests we loved the french toast. We will certainly be staying here again!

My girlfriend and I needed a quick getaway, and the Eddington House, along with adorable North Bennington, were the perfect remedy. Patti took excellent care of us with suggestions for walking and driving tours of the area, and I'm still salivating at the thought her of stuffed french toast. The house is gorgeous, the rooms were simple, neat, and very...

Stayed here with my mom and mom-in-law on a trip through New England. Our rooms were very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and Patti was extremely helpful in pointing us towards covered bridges and a great restaurant. Will definitely stay again.

Needed a mid-week getaway with my boyfriend. Could not have found a better place to stay. Patti was the best with things to do around Bennington and with places to eat. Kevin's right up the road in walking distance was great! We will return!!
