Reviewed 15 July 2015 Stayed here while visiting Bryce Canyon. There are several places to stay that have log cabins, so we accidentally went to the wrong one first. This place is right on the edge of town as you enter Tropic from the north. We had really hoped...More

Reviewed 10 July 2015 This was a great place to stay out of the hubbub of the park. Newly redecorated in country theme, very clean, spotless bathroom. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of flowers around each cabin, made it very cheerful with a little sitting porch out front....More
Reviewed 10 July 2015 You won't find much better in Tropic. The cabins are super clean and the town is really cute but very small. We stayed there because we wanted to be close to Escalante for a canyoneering trip. There is a good coffee shop really close, a...More

You're talking about Bryce Canyon I presume when you say "park".
Nothing is close enough to walk, and the park itself is way too big to walk around.

Our room was in a duplex cabin. I don't know if any of the cabins have just one room. We were in no way bothered by having any occupants next door. There are separate entrances of course, but the back porch runs the width of the building, although each individual room has its own porch area. I simply don't know anything about what a "standard room" is.

I would think that they are pet friendly because we were surrounded by sheep and cats. There is a farm all around the property.

"All the individual cabins appear to be great" "Don't trust these people!" "Our cabin had two queen size beds so there was lots of room." "some face the highway, some are on the side street"
