Oy, I remember when you could get cute little places like this at a reasonable price in Moab! Not anymore...hence I've moved my stays down to Monticello anytime I'm headed into the Needles district of Canyonlands. I was traveling solo and doing a weekend backcountry. Needed a place to stage my gear and pack before headed out the next day... More

We reserved this over the phone as we needed to find a room for us and our small dog. We got one in the back, the AC unit was new, beds were comfortable and the towels were nice and thick. The place was clean and was truly non smoking. We asked the maid the next day if we could use... More

We arrived quite late and the lady on the front desk was friendly and checked us in quickly and efficiently. The room was clean and bed comfortable, a fridge was provided along with a microwave. The decor was a little dated but for us, unlike some of the other hotels we stayed in felt this gave the room some character.... More

We stayed at this inn on our way to Moab, UT . We knew in advance that check in closes at 10 PM and I called ahead to let them know that we would be late . The front desk could not be more helpful in making sure that we got the room keys no matter how late we came... More

There aren't many hotels in Monticello. Most are the old, small and reminiscent of the 50's. The Blue Mountain is truly the best value of what I saw. It's clean, has the fridge, micro & coffee and is priced right. It's great if you're passing through.

On way from Colorado to Moab and found this motel at end of day. Seems I was traveling in Pioneer Days Weekend so many motels in area were booked up and prices had been raised. Room was in front of building and traffic on road just outside door was loud. Kept air conditioner running all night, even though temps had... More

We were pinched for lodging at peak season in NW Utah canyon country. Booked this cute little family motel blind and was very pleased on arrival. The motel is a throw back to the 70's but very clean, comfortable and friendly. Nothing fancy yet they do a nice job and decently priced for the area! Pet friendly, near some nice... More

Enjoyable stay after long day of driving. Clean. Fairly quiet. Friendly owners. Good prices. Walking distance to great restaurant. Close to enhance to Needles district of Canyonlands National Park. Comfortable bed. Small fridge.

My wife and I stayed here one night July 4, 2016 after leaving Arches NP. Although our room was located in front of motel, right off street, the room was quite. The accommodations are basic. My wife noticed some stains on the sheets. My slight concern was with the claustrophobic shower. It's a budget motel, so adjust your expectations accordingly.... More

The hospitality here was wonderful. They were redoing some things on the outside and in the office, but it was no inconvenience to us. The room was comfortable, not overly large, but certainly plenty of room for an overnight stay. There was a refrigerator (there may have been a microwave, too, but I don't remember). The room faced on the... More
