The best bed we have slept in during our one month USA trip. The recent built pool is a real asset. Staff were helpful and good food can be found down the hill at St Juans? The setting by the river makes for a peaceful stay.

Stayed here as a part of 5 adults on Friday 21st September 2012 after travelling through Monument valley. I also stayed in the Mexican Hat Lodge the next night so can give an honest review of both. Don't bother with the San Juan Inn these are the best two places to stay in Mexican Hat. Once your done at Monument...

Stayed here two nights as a base to explore monument valley. The room was clean as was the bathroom. The new pool is a nice addition were I enjoyed a relaxing hour after a long drive. No complimentary breakfast but there is an adjoining cafe were breakfast can be purchased. I can't comment on this as we never used it....

I chose Mexican Hat for a stopover on the way from Mesa Verde to Monument Valley via the northerly route. The route was chosen because we had already seen the more southerly route via Four Corners and Kayenta. The stop was to see the Mexican Hat and other local sites, and to end the day 1/2 hour earlier. The last...

We chose this place because we were unable to get an additional night at one of the two hotels in the Monument Valley and because we were headed north from that point. Our requirements are always "clean, quiet and comfortable". We always ask for an upper most room, away from stairs, elevators, machines etc. and our room met these expectations....

Located some 20 miles from Monument Valley, the Hat Rock offers a nice large room. The driveway and parking is unpaved, with loose gravel making access for tour bikes tricky. They are building a new pool area (pool completed), when finished will be great, with a hot tub included, worked well despite being partially completed. Its expensive for being so...

Good situation, not far from Monument Valley. swiming pool under construction and not finished. Was clean, but it is clearly overpriced! The level of comfort is the one of a standard motel, but you pay much more than one night in a luxury hoetl in Vegas...For half ghe price, it would be ok, unless it is not worth it. No...

We stayed here after visiting Monument Valley (it is about 20 miles) mainly because I read about the swinging stake and I wanted to try that place nearby for dinner The room was cosy and clean. We booked a second floor room, which I do suggest to avoid the lighting and noise of cars parking in front of the rooms....

Before going to hat rock you have to ask yourself if this is really what you want. In fact it is excellent for what it actually gives, which is a motel in one of the most beautiful and in the same time isolated and warm area of Utah. Once accepted the motel status, then you will accept the small rooms,...

We were looking for a place as close as possible to Monument Valley. The room was clean is the best review I can give it. Very overpriced but there aren't a lot of places to stay near Monument Valley unless you go back to Kayenta, which was backtracking for us. There is only one very small restaurant in town which...
