I usually stay in low cost rooms when traveling by myself. I have a higher “fleabag” tolerance than my wife. However, this motel was not even marginally acceptable. The only plus is to say it was dry in the rain.

Manager gave us a room away from the main street, very quiet. Price was right and room was very comfortable. Hotel may be not much to look at, but what a nice surprise! BTW the manager is a character, full of good cheer and witty humor.
