This motel has two sections.. a newly built section and an older section. We were in the older section and generally, I would not be concerned about that, but our section had not been renovated at all. The carpets were disgustlying dirty. Although I don't think it is necessary to tear the old section down and rebuild it, I do...

Had a very good stay at the Circle D Motel and Eatery. Escalante is a great little town, and the Circle D Motel and Eatery fit right in. The staff at both the Motel and Eatery were very pleasant, friendly, accomodating, and went out of their way to make sure you had a good stay. Free WiFi, flat screen tv,...

The room was clean. It is an older motel but the place has been taken care of really well. The beds were very comforatble. Well worth the price!

I would have picked the hotel acrosd the street had I been able to find a picture of "The Prospector". It looked clean and well managed. The Circle D Room 12 looked like it had 20 dogs running free on the carpet just before we got there. The bed was tilted head down, the mattress older and welled in the...

Motel was exactly as we expected. Hurricane is a very small town so there weren't many choices but this motel was clean and fine for us. We like small family owned motels. We were glad we had reservations because everything in a 75 mile radius was full because of festival going on in Hurricane. We arrived late and left early...

I would have rated this motel as poor because of the appalling decor and finish in the room , but It did have the saving grace of decent beds and new fridge/ microwaves. Also the towels were new white and fluffy. The furniture was old and dark and from the middle ages, and the bathroom (small shower only- no tub)was like a...

Room was very small. The queen bed took up much of the room. Only one small wooden desk chair was available. We had to drag an outdoor chair from the veranda into the room. Hiking books were available in the room. The hotel had a separate wastebin for recyclables--the first time I've ever seen that in a hotel. Not too...

Ken was very accommodating. I told him I was bringing a group of 16 people to hike in Escalante and we needed to have dinner and I was wondering if he could provide it to us. He told me his menu, but we as hikers, like a bit more vegetables. He did that for us or I should say his...
