If you want to visit the National Parks of Utah - this is a great spot. Several parks can be easily accessed from the resort. The resort itself is in a beautiful secluded spot. Step outside for amazing hikes - from a simply stroll to a guided adventure for the seasoned traveler.

Dear Rosemary M, Thank you for your recent visit of Amangiri and for taking the time to share your experience with fellow travelers. I am glad you enjoyed yourselves and found the activities to be a worthwhile complement to an otherwise spectacular property. I regret to read that while you found the staff caring, service was at time slow in response, and as such, I would welcome the opportunity to hear more about the shortfalls experiences in person. I would appreciate you contacting me directly at jsurget@aman.com. Once again, thank you for your recent visit and I look forward to hopefully welcoming you soon again to our corner of the desert.

I spent 3 nights at Amangiri, and there is truly no other resort like it in the states. The resort itself does a beautiful job of blending into the environment, while still being a work of art itself. The staff often touts it as having the most activities of all the Aman’s, and I

I had the same visceral reaction when I stepped out of the jeep at Amangiri as I did when I first laid eyes on the Maldives from the sea plane - it's that breathtakingly beautiful. My husband and I are fortunate in the amount of traveling that we've done, and the hotels and rest

This is bar far the most exclusive and unique resort in the Southwest - and possibly the United States.

It is a small boutique hotel with only about sixty rooms so there are never crowds at the meals or pool. The pool being a unique architectural feat designed directly into the

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the Amangiri in October 2018. As many reviews have written, the facilities are beautifully integrated into the surrounding messas and landscaped seamlessly into the rugged terrain. This was our first Aman property experience. The food was spectacul

Is it worth paying the extra for a Mesa room rather than the Desert View? I understand the rooms are similar?
If economics are the concern go with the less. Not a big difference in view. Rooms are almost the same - first big date. Pay up- might be worth it Hotel and services are just great - you will enjoy either room and not realize the difference

Wondering if March is a good time to travel here? Will the pool be open? Also which airport did you fly into?
Not sure about the weather, but we flew into Flagstaff. From there it was an easy 2hr. 15 min. drive to the Resort.

I wanted to book 3 or 4 days and the calendar shows different prices for each day. Which is it?
Hotels typically price per day. On occasion they will quote the same daily rate, but it is arrived at by averaging the rates for your stay. In both scenarios you pay the same amount.

Is the first week of august a good time to go to amangiri or Is it too hot?
The place is a very dry heat little to no humidity. It can get as hot as 120 degree. Lake Powell is right there and perfect for jet skiing and boating. Anything involving the water is a must. The evenings will be amazing but in the 90’s to low 100’s. So it’s the desert 🌵 and it’s the middle of summer. This is my guess

how do I get to Canyon Point, Utah from Sacramento ?
Depends on your preferred travel methods. Pretty basic approach would be to fly into Flagstaff. The hotel has a fleet of cars and could assist from there or offer alternatives. At the other end of the spectrum they have a helicopter pad. Suggest you reach out to their concierge, they’re excellent.

"Be sure to ask about rooms with a star bed if you want to sleep under the stars at night."
"Every room is worth. Very private and some have private pool"
"Would select one closer to the main hall to avoid lots of long walks in the dark."
"Can't go wrong with either Mesa or Desert view rooms."
"Mesa rooms cost more $ but they are identical to desert rooms and the views are equally fantastic"
