We stayed here a year ago and thought we would give it another try. Not a good move on our part. No staff on duty or owner and the road noise has gotten worse. Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, and not a very good neighborhood. Someone egged my car during the night and I had to have it...

A uniquely wonderful place. The rooms are cozy, comfortably decorated, impeccably clean and very well appointed with high quality bed linens and towels. You feel as comfortable as you are in your own home. Sandy's breakfasts are delicious, the table pleasantly set and Sandy's service and conversation very special. The common areas are equally impressive and the property is very...

Fun little getaway for anniversary. Not a historic home but built with history in mind. Stayed in Victorian room- great view, good privacy, bathroom is small and nothing special. Host is super and willing to help in any way! Food is brought in but good!

We had stayed here when this was part of the Oaklea Mansion & Manor House. Since it had been purchased and renovated we decided to try it again. Was surprised to find out the increase in prices and it did not include a hot breakfast. The one reason of staying at a B&B is their unique breakfast. You could pay...

The Clark House is the newest and nicest of the hotels & B&Bs in the city. Completely renovated about a year ago, this B&B used to be part of "Oklea Manor". The property has been renovated from top to bottom and is now modern and fresh without losing the charm of an older property. The rooms are all very well-appointed...

Stayed here several years ago and was pleased with the stay. Now it seems to have really run down. The grounds have been neglected and since the property is up for sale the hostess seems not to care about the small things. The prices are still very high and the road noise is exceptionally bad. Not in the best of...

Loved staying at Oaklea Mansion. Grounds are extensive and whimsical with resident rabbits. There is a rabbit house with a tremendous collection of rabbits - old and new. The rooms are decorated to match the Victorian decor. The antiques are gorgeous and unusual. The grounds are lit up at night and they play soft music - making it so romantic!...

I loved staying here with my friends. Norma, the owner, made us feel so welcome and at home. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Nothing fancy but fine. The best part of the experience is relaxing in and exploring the gardens. You'll find doves, rabbits, a koi pond and gorgeous trees and flowers. After breakfast, Norma will take you on...
