We were in Big Bend National Park with Road Scholar for 5 nights and we enjoyed that comforts of the Casitas in so many ways. Each has a cozy kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, glassware, dishes & utensils and even a kitchen sink. The two queen best were comfortable and cozy (extra blankets available upon request for those chilly desert nights!)...

We're a couple that was in the area for the Big Bend Ultra Races at Big Bend State Park on MKL weekend. We stayed at Las Casitas, Cabin #1, and our stay was absolutely stellar. We've been coming to the area for over 30 years. Sometimes we camp, sometime we seek lodging. This was our first time to stay at...

This was our first trip to Big Bend and we had no idea what to expect, but I can say we were prepared for rough accommodations. But we were pleasantly surprised when we checked into our cabin at Far Flung! The cabin was extremely clean & neat! And more spacious than anticipated. My husband loved that it had a community...

After a hot day hiking in the Chihuahuan desert, I wanted to come back to a/c, ice machines, and a clean room with southwest flair. This totally fit the bill! Glad I didn't stay in Marathon or Marfa- this was much closer to the park. I felt very safe here. It was very clean and modern. Staff and owners were...

First, let me say that Randy started things off right! About two weeks before our trip we decided to add an additional night. Finding that the weekend was pretty booked, Randy asked if he could try and work things out and call me back. Sure enough, in less than 30 mins. Randy was on the line and had worked his...

By far, best in the area. Clean and comfy. Love the style with the rocking chairs on the porches (ours faced the wide-open back) with the breezeways between the rooms. Especially coming off of two days camping in the Chisos Basin, and then another overnight trip up the river - the teens said this looked like a castle :) (Actual...

The cabins are new, spacious, clean, and accommodating. Let me try a few of my highlights. I walked in and I said, "Wow these are REALLY nice!!". Then you dig through the details. Kitchen has EVERYTHING- wine glasses, coffee cups, corkscrew, REALLY good coffee and much .. much more. Queen beds are very comfortable (give it an 8 out 10)....

Individual cabins, very clean, southwestern decor, plenty of room for 2 queen beds, kitchen corner with eating area, spacious bathroom although the shower itself is quite small. The room is adequate for a family with kids, though 4 adults would be tight. The premises are nicely landscaped with an outdoor fire, horseshoe pit, and several BBQ areas. Each cabin has...

We (retired Virginia couple) spent two nights in one of Far Flung's charming casitas in mid-October. These units are spacious and comfortable; the staff are friendly and accommodating; the drive into the Park is easy and very beautiful. Two days allow time to explore the route down to Rio Grande Village, Chisos Basin, and the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive ....
