This motel and RV park was the lest expensive in the area. I spent a whole day in Big Bend National Park after driving from Marathon, and was signed into the motel part across the street. This motel is part of Forever Resorts, but I would hardly call this place a "resort." There was a grill/restaurant and it had the...

We did the Big Bend Overland Tour with Dakota our guide for the 12 hour River Road Tour and it was a fantastic way to see a very big part of the park if you have very limited time there. We only had 3 days in the park and it is so big and so difficult to drive through that...

This place serves the purpose of a moderately clean room (lots of flies) a bed, and a shower. For Big Bend hikers and bikers this may be enough, but too spartan for us. In fact, if you are only a casual sightseer in Big Bend with a desire for comfort, pass this by.

Stayed here for 2 nights, during which the bathrooms were never cleaned or refilled (hand soap, toilet paper) and that was just the Men's room, the women's had a clogged toilet for 3 days. Simply disgusting. I spoke to the front desk when checking out and he said that "they should be cleaned". I then spoke to one of the...

I was aware of the "in need of updating" consensus. I figured, "Hey, it's the edge-of-the-world Texas, how bad could it be?" I've stayed in rat-holes and thankfully that experience was not this place. One of our biggest problems was the pipe extension from the wall to shower head had several cracks. The water comes on and the entire room...

This room was extremely basic. Very hard bed and pillow. Unfortunately something in our room was biting us at night. We stayed 2 nights and loved the national park but am still itching from the bites. Do not use the National Parks Reservation website which is a third party website that misrepresents the amenities available in the resort. We expected...

Made a last minute decision to go to Big Bend for the holiday weekend. Not prepared to camp, we decided for a hotel trip. We were offered a room at this "hotel" when rooms in the park were full. I read the reviews and was prepared for a not very nice place. Figured we would really only be there to...

Was booked into Big Bend Resorts and Adventure due to overbooking at Chisos Mt. Lodge. This is a 1940's vintage motel which has not been updated or cleaned? Limited WiFi. I do not recommend this place.

We rented two motel rooms because they were so cheap but were very unhappy with one of them. We rented unit #39 on the hill and our room was slanted. We literally had to walk uphill to go from the bed to the bathroom. Was very disorienting. I dropped an orange next to the bed and it rolled to the...

This place is a Class A dump! Old frame building plunked in the middle of a gravel parking lot in full earshot of every truck and motorcycle. Carpets stained, cheap mattresses, bathroom smaller than most RV's, hardly any light in the rooms. Water smells like rotten eggs, takes forever to get hot. Loose molding on floor between cruddy carpet and...
