Our family decided to book this hotel for the remarks and pictures on booking.com. It was a big mistake. Upon arriving to check in we were advised our pullout bed was a twin. When arriving to our room we noticed the bed comforter had stains,phone broken, outlet broken,missing iron board,missing cups, track for shade broken and missing chair for table....

Check in is strange. No indication of where the office is. Also, the parking lot is 600 feet from the rooms. You can unload at the base of the building but it would be nice if we were Informed of that. The room was clean, and almost steril in décor, and terribly overpriced for the area and what you get....

I purchased a Travelzoo voucher for a two night weekday stay. The room was spacious and clean. No true views of the ocean, but the pool area is beautiful. Parking and check in is somewhat funcky. We were able to get a awesome deal thru travelzoo for the Memorial Day holiday. The hotel also helped me with surprising Troy with a balloon arrangement and thanks to Jakes florist. They also accommodated us with placing us on the 6th floor,for a wonderful beach view. We also rec'd a $50 hotel credit which we used in the onsite...

It is 6 am in the morning and as I went to the bathroom I saw a roach just running somewhere. The prices are unreasonable and we asked them to inform us on our arrival day when the room is ready. They never did. I wish we could leave this place sooner. G. Sh.

At check in was charged triple what my room tax should have been, then spent the afternoon checking back to make sure the problem was corrected. Wouldn't doubt they do this to recoup the alleged $50 resort credit advertised with the purchase of voucher. The credit was supposed to be good for the spa or dining. Spa was never open....

We booked this hotel using a voucher and it was exceptionally good value. I would not want to pay the regular rate but If you can find a good deal then I would recommend this resort. Immediately you will feel part of SPI, great service, awesome bedrooms and facilities, every time my family travels to SPI I stay here, I strongly recommend it for kids and also great for senior adults and handicap people since the hotel is well equipped on everything needed for this.

Located directly on the beach in the heart of South Padre Island's "hotel row", our upscale property opened in 2006, and combines the highest standards in construction with contemporary, tasteful design. The units are all well-appointed, and range in size from our very popular studio kitchenette units to our 3 bedroom/3 bath condominiums. With concrete walls, porcelain tile flooring, and leather furniture, our resort was designed to resist to mold, humidity and allergens all-too-often common near the sea. Our swimming pool is the largest infinity pool in South Texas, and features a convenient swim up bar. Each offers either a full kitchen or kitchenette, and everything else necessary to cook and serve a gourmet meal. If cooking is not your thing, Las Olas Restaurant Grill and Bar, located onsite, is considered by many to be one of the best restaurants on South Padre Island, and offers a variety of delicious homemade dishes available for in-room dining.
