Visited HRH recently on a motorcycle trip to the 3 sisters/brothers, as Rocksprings is a perfect central location for both. HRH has the nicest hosts you'll ever meet, very accommodating to our motorcycle trailer, and just plain helpful. The kitchen (which guests have access to) is like something out of a Michelin star restaurant, so you could really whip up...

We stayed at the HRH on the way back to Houston from Big Bend. This small Hill Country community represents what Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Hunt was like in the 60s and early 70s before the tourism wave inundated them. The hotel is a perfect spot to stay -a gem--celebrating 100 years in the community. Your hostess, the proprietress has written...

We went out to watch the meteor shower and got a room in the Ranch Suite and it was first rate! There is a well stocked kitchen, you only need to bring your own food to prepare. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

i would recommend a Hill Country road trip to include an overnight stay at the Historic Rocksprings Hotel. The Edwards Plateau is unique in all of Texas and the Frio Canyon area includes the best of the Texas Hill country. Staying at the Rocksprings Hotel will take you back in time when the pace was slower and people were truly...

Very nice 100 year old hotel. The public rooms are nicely decorated and guests are encouraged to use them. There is a full kitchen available for guests. Wifi and Direct TV is available. If you are so inclined the baby grand is tuned. Just in case you forget you're in Texas there are many trophies throughout the public rooms! Check...

The Rocksprings hotel is a historic landmark hotel. It's old but it has held up quite well. The hotel is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The room was large but the bathroom was small (it's what you'd expect for a 100 yr old building). The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well and it was quiet. There were plenty of...

We stayed March 18 & 19, 2016. The owners are great - very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nice and decorated to the T. We stayed in room 201 because the wifi covers that room. However, the wifi was slower than our AT&T (LTE) coverage so we just used that. If we return to this area of Texas...

The hotel is in a beautifully restored 100 year old building that takes you back to a more gracious, gentile time. The proprietress, Deborah, made our very large party feel completely at home. The parlor, the beautiful dining room, the tv room and the well appointed kitchen were all available to us, creating a feeling of being home. Other than...
