So, here it is, folks. Paula, the property manager, is amazing.........professional, a talented chef and over the top helpful. We stayed for three days and had the most relaxing time. As a matter of fact, my sister and her husband booked the same room (Live Oak) for the end of July. Everything is exceptionally clean and Paula and her helper,...

Couldn't get a return phone call or email after leaving two messages on the answering machine and sending two emails through the web site. Even though the venue is nice, the hostess, Paula turned very dour and terse when I explained my wife's' food allergies and that we needed something different for breakfast. Her solution was to just not serve...

I would like to add to the great reviews this BnB has already earned. We stayed in the back rooms (San Juan room) that is near the pool and jacuzzi. Although near the street, it was quiet at night, and not that loud to disturb the daily siesta. Bikes were provided and we rode to the park and saw the...

I actually run out of superlatives when trying to describe what a wonderful B&B this is. However, the underlying thread that makes everything work here is the hospitality of the innkeeper. She is charming and gracious, the answer to every question seems to be 'yes,' and it is clear that her standards for excellence make the stay here so enjoyable....

We stayed in the Black Jack Room. It has a great view and the shower is excellent. I would rate the physical B&B with 5 stars - also a good location to walk to cute shops. The breakfasts were very good. Our room was cleaned every morning and turned back at night. The lady helping Paula was very nice. HOWEVER,...

This is a lovely bed and breakfast. It is charmingly decorated and clean. Our family booked all four rooms in the main house (there are more rooms in a separate building), and so I got to see all those rooms. My husband and I were in room # 4 and were very pleased with it. The bed was very comfortable...

Hoopes Hose is right on the bay in Rockport. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and cool and dark at night. Breakfast is great. The innkeeper, Paula, is so meticulous and careful about everything that you cannot find anything to complain about. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here recently and I highly recommend it. The inn keeper and staff are super. Breakfast is great, the entire place is immaculate and the rooms are nicely appointed. I really felt at home here and the back yard and pool area are awesome. We will definitely be back. The location is great but the location...

Rockport is a little gem that offers more each year for tourists. I've stayed in several accomodations in the town, and Hoopes' House is head and shoulders above the rest. First, it's immaculately clean and well maintained. Another reviewer mentioned that he detected a slight musty smell; I've lived along the Texas Gulf Coast for 30+ years, and I've been...
