There are newer, quieter places not right next to the freeway where you might actually get some sleep at night. The rooms are dated, and a bit musty. You might do alright in one of the rooms that do not face the freeway.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now on the way down to Texas last November and again in April on our way back to Canada, we have found the service great, the food for breakfast lots of it. We plan to stay again when we travel back to Texas for the next Winter Texan stay

Customer service was great. The room was quiet and clean. It wasn't a really big room, but my son and I checked in late and left moderately early the next morning so the room was exactly what we needed to get a good night's rest. If you are planning to spend loads of time in the room I would ask...

Beds are too small. They don't have anything bigger than full size. Don't expect to have more than one person per bed. I woke up the next morning feeling beaten and bruised on the side I sleep on because the beds were so hard and small. Shower is about chest high and I am 5'8". I had to squat down...

It was a 4 but I reserve the 5 for a hotel when they do something above and beyond expected. This time above and beyond was two fold. First I was given a cheaper rate than I found on the internet. Second I was offered a free up grade. I turned it down because I wanted two beds. I actually...

We love staying at LaQuinta Hotels not just because you are allowed to bring your pet, but they are all clean, breakfasts are great, and the staff at any of them has always been extremely pleasant and helpful.

The LaQuinta was an excellent stop on our trip. Free WIFI, dogs stay free, good basic breakfast, very good rooms all for a great price. There is also a good seafood restaurant next door. We had a superb gumbo with shrimp, crawfish, catfish, and sausage.

We stayed here on our way home from wintering in south Texas. It was the first time we stayed at this particular La Quinta. This is an older hotel but the room was very clean. The staff are friendly. We travel with 2 small dogs and there is a lot of area to walk them. The only problem we had...

Very noisy all night long. Heard water running and toilets being flushed. Breakfast area too small and crowded, average selections for breakfast. I will bring earplugs next time. Location was convenient to most everything. Check-in was very smooth and quick. Check-out was slow due to being in the same crowded breakfast dining area{very cramped space.

The staff was very friendly and personable. The rooms were clean and comfortable but a little dated. Bathrooms are small. Although it is next to a busy road, using the ac/heater to drown out the road noise worked for us. Overall a good value for the price.
