The Caroline House was so wonderful - honestly it was our favorite part of the trip. Mary has created a bed and breakfast in the traditional sense - she makes a delicious breakfast each morning for her guests, and guests gather in the dining area to eat. (With Covid going on this looks a bit different than normal.) Mary is beyond accommodating, thoughtful, and her attention to detail and care went well beyond anything I've experienced in a long time. Mary herself is sweet and personable, and clearly loves what she does; she loves creating a wonderful experience for her guests and making everyone feel cozy and at home. My husband, 19 year old son and I stayed at The Caroline House for a week while visiting our new grandbaby for the first time. We can't say enough about the property, it is such a nostalgic place and we felt at home. But the real gem is our host, Mary, who owns the Band B. She personifies the meaning of southern hospitality and breakfast is always lovely and satisfying. Mary made us feel like family and we can't wait to come back for another stay!

We reserved the Elizabeth Suite to stay following a long day at the Texas Renaissance festival. It was so much easier than driving back to Houston and return the next day. The suite includes 2 bedroom and a full bath. One room has a delicious king bed, the other 2 twins. The rooms, the house and the hostess were charming and comfortable. I recommend it highly.

The Caroline House Bed & Breakfast was the perfect place for an overnight stay in Montgomery, TX. My husband and I booked Elizabeth's Suite on this charming property for a Wednesday night as we traveled through Texas. The owner, Mary, could not have been more accommodating. She truly has the gift of hospitality! Our upstairs suite was clean and ready for us upon arrival. It offered plenty of comfortable, private space in which we could relax and rest. The entire house and property were a treat to tour. The breakfast (prepared and served by Mary) was delicious and unique. We hope to return to the Caroline House on our future visits to Montgomery.
