H10 Las Palmeras garners mixed reviews, with many guests praising its excellent location near beaches and shops. However, reviewers are divided on service quality, encountering both attentive staff and instances of slow, sometimes rude responses. The amenities, including various pools, are generally appreciated, although unexpected additional charges disappoint some visitors.
Despite the cleanliness being well-regarded, the hotel's atmosphere suffers due to dated decor and a lack of vibrancy, compounded by noise from nearby bars. Travelers also criticize the value, noting the rooms can be small, outdated, and noisy.

Flew out to tenerife on Boxing Day and booked this about 3 months in advance, wasn’t a cheap deal but didn’t expect a cheap deal given the time of year. Arrived at the hotel and was surprised to find it was located so close to the area I didn’t want to be in (I had stated this to the travel agent) however when we checked in the staff were very friendly and we got a glass of cava for the check in process which was a nice touch. The hotel reception area looked lovely and clean and also very modern complete with Xmas tree!
We went to our room located on the first floor, the room was facing the rear of the hotel car park which was disappointing however we did know it was an extra 28 euros per night for a sea view but we really didn’t want the extra cost given how much we had paid. We were however very disappointed that we had twin beds when we asked for a double room.
Things got worse that night when we had constant shouting throughout the night from the room next door. We went to reception the following day and requested a room change due to the noise and also down to the fact that we didn’t want twin beds and the gentleman called victor I believe sorted out a new room straight away for us with a double bed on the other side of the hotel. He was very helpful.
The room then was great apart from the fact the A/C didn’t work which we told them about 4 times and it never got fixed, it wasn’t a massive problem as it was only a couple of days we could have done with it as the rest of the holiday it was quite cool on an evening.
Apart from this the rooms were cleaned everyday, and to a very high standard.
We had booked half board so we had breakfast and evening meal although they did say we could changed this to lunch if required but we never did. The food was fantastic and the service was great! Massive choice even though I am pescatarian there was plenty for me. One of the best hotels I’ve been to for food.
The pool area was clean and they have a towel service where you get a ticket and can swap your towels, always sun beds available as you can reserve them which is good. Although it would be good to have a waiter service for the non-all inclusive guests as the queues were sometimes big at the bar.
Pool bar food was average and could be improved that’s probably the most negative feedback.
NYE gala was exceptional, the staff worked so hard. We had a set time for our evening meal but they had set up various drinks and canapé areas in the foyer which was lovely, the place was all decorated and there were singers on outside while waiting, then for the meal the food was superb, they pulled out all the stops. After the meal they had a Hollywood show with dancers outside which was excellent then they came round with party bags for all the guests ready for new year and did the countdown. The whole night was fantastic.
In the end the location didn’t bother me as this time of year it seems to be quieter round that area anyway, loved the hotel and would definitely return again maybe for NY 2021

Our stay:
9 night stay in February 2020, having been guests before in both February 2019 & August 2019.
Negatives
Extremely disappointed that hotel management didn't advise our tour operator - or more importantly us - that their main
swimming pool would be closed
for the full duration of our stay.
The work noise & toxic smell
from paints & resins forced us
to hire beds on the beach.
The 2nd negative is the hotel
gym which is poor for the size
of the hotel & has faulty equipment. The only piece of
resistance equipment didn't
work properly 12 months ago &
still doesn't function properly
today. It should be replaced by a
rack of dumbbells before some
is injured. There is a nice
hotel nearby, Tiguan Hotel,
which should be considered if a
good quality gymnasium is
important to you.
Positives
Quiet promenade location yet
only 800m from both the Safari
centre & more lively pubs Etc.
The housekeeping, maintenance,
security personnel & catering
team are hardworking &
obliging.
There is the usual spoils
available at the breakfast, lunch
& dinner buffet, although the
fruit at breakfast time is slow to
be replaced.
Reception staff were under
pressure during our visit due to
the problems caused at the
airport by the sandstorm. The
ladies at reception are polite
& helpful, but when I asked one
of the guys (Rafael) for some
confirmation on checkout
times I found him less helpful
than his female colleagues. I'll
give him the benefit of the doubt
due to the hotel being busy.
Summary
The hotel is nice and I'm sure it
will be enjoyed by many during
the coming months and years,
however I think after 3 visits we
will sample another hotel when
we return due to
disappointments during our 3rd
visit to the hotel.

I recently spent a week at this hotel 8th march 2020. It is in a great location on the beach front, but there are some sea views from the side as well. The rooms are a bit small but sufficient. Just one little interior improvement i would make to this hotel is to change the beds over and the pillows. They are way to hard to be comfortable for a four star hotel. The pool and bar areas are beatiful and you can exit the back door if you fancy a stroll along the sea front. The main restaurant has a good selection of food and there is an area if you would like your food cooked fresh. They had a great variety of seafood, steaks, and each evening a fresh roast, chicken, lamb, beef etc with all the trimmings. Lots of fresh fruit, desserts, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. Plus a sweets/candy bar for those who just need a sweet treat at the end of the meal. I noticed on past reviews food could be a little cool. But there is a microwave tucked up by the fresh cook station should you wish your food to be pipping hot. The surrounding area outside the hotel can be very noisy in the evening up to midnight but it goes quiet after that, so if your not one for having a drink in the Dubliners next door, maybe choose the sister hotel a 10 min walk away which has no bars on the doorstep. All the staff in every department work really hard to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. I was with a Tui Holiday package.

The reception was a long wait, lifts were poor one not working for the duration of our stay The restaurant was like a canteen The breakfast quality was not good, the bacon was over cooked and had an off putting smell The fried eggs were often burnt on the under neath and not cooked on the top, the chef cooked omelettes were thin and tasteless and only available every other day. we had eat out to get a good breakfast The evening meals were poor except for the roast meats The chef cooked steaks were tough and tasteless the fresh fish were full of bones We have stayed at H10 hotels and this is the worst The bedroom was too small, the balcony had no drying line wet towels swimming wear had to put on the chairs making the balcony non functional The fridges door was to close to the floor trapping the foot when opening insufficient hanging space in the wardrobe The bathroom was cramped unable to sit on the toilet as had been installed too close to the wall There was only news stations on the television that were in English. However the staff were friendly This was the worst hotel we have stayed in and recommend they visit their sister hotel the conquistador which is excellent The restaurant should have 2 sittings We were forced to find alternative swimming pool as there was not enough beds in the sun and was over crowded The entertainment was inside and loud We asked to be moved but was let down by Jet2 (another story)

Great location right on the beach and near Costa Adele to the North and Las Americas to the South. We stayed in a Junior Suite with a pool view, which was quiet but the balcony was quite small. Busy hotel but everything worked well. Very nice a la carte Italian restaurant worth paying the extra €10 per person. Nice terrace area to eat buffet meals at. Front desk staff always friendly and very helpful. Nice Japanese resteraunt too. We stayed half board, but next time only going B&B as fed up going to the same dinning room for buffet style breakfast, lunch or dinner meals everyday, which we broke up with visits to the Italian and Japanese restaurants. We liked it much better than the H10 Conquistador ( which was also considerably more expensive) as staff were more relaxed and friendlier. Would have given it 5 stars but on the Monday morning without prior notice or an apology they cordoned off the main bigger pool to refurbish same with workmen coming and going making noise and having to put up with paint fumes. Plenty of sun loungers.

Me and my partner came back from here after a weeks stay on 27/09. I’ll start with the positives as there are a few. Included in the all inclusive package are branded spirits, you can have absolute vodka, Smirnoff and loads of different gins. The hotel itself is very clean and good restrictions in place for Covid, mask wearing throughout hotel until you sit down or go outside. The location is really good, there is a gate out the back and you literally walk onto the beach with lots of restaurants, bars and shops and the strip with clubs is around a 10 minute walk. The less positives; the hotel was super busy and allow people to reserve sun beds so if you do not reserve a bed by around 8am you will not get one. The cocktails aren’t great, not a lot of selection and they don’t taste very nice. The buffet dinner, lunch and breakfast is quite bland but if you’re not a fussy eater like us then there is loads of choice. The room was tiny and not what I would call 4*. The meal in the Italian restaurant I thought was quite nice but my partner ordered different and said it was the worst meal of the holiday. I told the hotel in advance it was my birthday and asked for anything they could do special and nothing was done, last year when we went to Greece and I requested this, they put loads balloons up and also left us 2 slices of cake decorated with happy birthday. After all how much does this cost a hotel. I would say if you get this hotel on a good deal then go for it but wasn’t worth +£900 for a week all inclusive in my opinion as I have stayed at nicer 4* hotels for much cheaper. Also in Spain since Covid you cannot smoke in any hotels or even if you sit down outside for a drink, you have to get up and stand away from the table. Great shout for non smokers but for smokers it is a bit of a pain but that’s not the hotels fault obviously.

We stayed in this hotel with our family, 2 kids aged 11 and 7. First thing you NEED to know about this hotel is this, in the pools you are NOT allowed to play even with a smallest ball that fits in your hand, you are not allowed to use any water beds or toys at all. there are no slides or anything that will keep kids entertained either. So you have to be really creative in keeping the kids busy and entertained otherwise they get bored very quickly. there is no Kids Club (it was closed) to entertain kids or you can leave them for a few hours to relax either. The animation activities were pretty poor also and very few during the daytime. There is an event in each night but these were mostly for teenage+ age groups like live music, dj, dancing etc.. Kids were bored generally in evenings either.
We went for an all inclusive trip, and we were not happy with the food. there is generally a steak and chicken breast grill but steaks were worst quality and chicken breast grill was like leather. there was not much variation in food. It was more like a buffet in a budget all you can eat restaurant down the road where you live. I was expecting something real fancy, local fresh sea food, variations in hot meals and deserts maybe some pizza selection etc. So we were disappointed with this overall. certainly the hotel does not live up to the hype it creates in its web site. i do not recommend this hotel for families with young kids and for folks who wants to be impressed with something special on food.

The location of the hotel is superb, great sea views, on the flat and near the shopping mall.
The staff are magnificent and there is a wide variety of nationalities amongst the very friendly guests.
There is plenty of variety on the buffet at breakfast and dinner, but it is a weekly rotating menu.
The big negative this year was the surfing completion held outside the hotel. For one week the music was so loud that the furniture in the bedroom vibrated, there was no let up. It was a holiday from hell. Not the hotels fault, the event was sponsored by a rival group, but if you want peace and quiet don’t go at the same time as the surfers

+1
From reading reviews prior to arrival, we were sceptical. However, as soon as we stepped into reception and were greeted by helpful smiling staff, our fears subsided. I had emailed ahead to ask for a quiet room and we were allocated room number 17 overlooking the pool bar, pool and had a sea view.
The room was on the smaller side to some hotels we’ve stayed at but had a king size bed, nice balcony for evening sun and a decent size bathroom. We had also been left a chilled bottle of cava on arrival which was a nice touch.
The food was good. Breakfast and lunch were better than dinner if I have to pick hairs.
The pool areas were immaculate and we never struggled to get a sunbed. Security doesn’t let anyone out towels out before 7.30am and the pool guy always has a stack of a pair beds if needed.
The location is great and very central. We enjoyed the direct access to the beach promenade and spent most mornings strolling from Las Americas to either los cristianos or Adeje.
All inclusive drinks are great and even if you’re on half board, the cocktails are a similar price to what you’d pay elsewhere.
All in all a great clean hotel with friendly staff. We would return.
The only thing we would ask for is tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom.
