We arrived here from a perfect AI-hotell, only a few days to check out the viewings of GC, had we not I am sure a crime would have been committed. A few excerpts of our experiences: We hade to change rooms 3 times due to severe mold damages in the rooms - like you’ve to wear a gas mask to just go in there 🧟‍♂️. When notifing management they just scoffed it off and said ”I Will talk to the cleaning lady”... The buffets are OK for the price and chefs are good guys - the service however... they snatch your plates before you’re finished, don’t say anything or at best tells you ”to use a small cup for espresso” 🤣. The C19 measurements seems mostly be used as an excuse to save down on the food and salaries, no sanitizing, no distancing, just less space in the restaurant and less food in the buffet... There’s a nudist solarium on the roof top, which is nice if you’re so inclined, just there someone who’ve made a hole in the wall with a bucket below for peeping Tom’s... I caught a drunk neighbour pissing from the balcony... And the list goes on... I would advise anyone to ever use this unsafe Hotel, both due to insufficient C19 protektion and the mold infection the management apparently doesnt care about.

We spent 7 days at the Hotel Occidental Margaritas and we couldn't be happier with the choice. We have felt very comfortable during our stay there. The hotel was very clean and had a very secure Covid protocol. The fact that all workers were always attentive to compliance with anticovid measures, has given us a lot of peace of mind. In terms of facilities, the hotel has two swimming pools, one of which has a calmer atmosphere and a well-kept natural environment around. That’s a very good option if you are looking for resting away and disconnecting. The food was delicious. Breakfast was very varied, with natural juices, freshly made omelets for which you could choose the ingredients. There was a wide variety of bread, fresh fruit and salty and sweet options. Dinners and lunches with a wide variety of dishes, including several homemade desserts, some of which were typical of the Canary Islands and outstanding. Don’t miss out the home-made pizzas and follow the suggestions of chefs and waiters To highlight the service and attention of the staff, from receptionists, chefs, lifeguards and waiters, always providing us with an excellent service and the best of their faces. You have made each day of our vacation a little better! As waiters, special mention to Carolina and Juan Ramón for their attention, personalized service, suggestions and good vibes. Also noteworthy Martin, the entertainer with whom we have had a great time. Thank you for your very good attitude to make our days there happy and fun with the activities offered: pool bike, aqua gym, stretching ... We also enjoyed live music. Highly valued in these times when we miss this kind of things so much! Hotel Occidental Margaritas will be definitely our first choice, when we return to Maspalomas!

I stay more than 6 month per year in hotels and this was one of the worst stays I've had. For a start my girlfriend and I had to que for more than 30 minutes just to check in, even after doing the online check in. Why that is is a feature I don't know.. When we finally got to the room it was dirty and missing towels. This was resolved quite quickly after calling the reception but maybe should be done before arrival. Meal times at the buffet, covid rules have been completely ignored or just not inforced I'm not sure which. There is no social distancing, hand sanitizing, or distancing. This is a major violation of the health laws!. And just to rub salt in it, my girlfriend is in cruches. Your hotel while being advertised as being disabled friendly is not. It took us more than 40 minutes to get from our room to the breakfast and upon arrival we were rudely told by the staff that we had to hurry and eat as it was closing soon. Not a holiday we will repeat.

We regret to read that the measures against Covid-19 seemed insufficient to you, however we can guarantee that under all actions included in our "We Care About You" protocol, the security and tranquility of our clients is assured. In addition, both the team and the hotel management keep a rigorous control of these measures, and if any of these measures are not complied with, we ensure that they are complied with. If any uncivil attitude has escaped our grasp, we sincerely apologize for it. Lastly, we would like to point out that the hotel is accessible, and features disabled adapted rooms with wheel-in showers. In case of having communicated it, we would have no problem offering you a room change. The room (841) has antique furniture that does not correspond to the photos uploaded online. We expected a room a little more modern or well-kept with respect to its interior. We sank into bed, quite uncomfortable. I managed but my wife (6 months pregnant) did not sleep well due to the difficulty she had in turning over in a bed in which she was sinking. The bed does not have lamps in conditions to be able to read. Those that exist have a very weak light that does not allow you to read a book easily due to the lack of light. Breakfast was plentiful and we liked it. The only thing is that you could put a card to indicate those foods that need it, such as jams that you did not know what they were! All the staff encountered were friendly except the receptionist who checked us in on the first day. We had reserved a double bed and we went to tell him that there were two single beds in the room. He answered us (being a bit rude) like this: "... you want it all! Room with a view and a double bed!" The strange thing is that we reserved that room paying for a double bed and we asked if a bed with a view was possible too, we did not pretend it. In fact, if we had the possibility to change the views for the double bed, we would have done it. In addition, he suggested that they would have put a cover over the two single beds so that it would be the closest thing to a double. We accepted but they did not put it on until the 3rd day and after having asked 2 times for it (he had told us that they were going to put it on the same day of arrival!). However, we appreciated that they put in our fridge a bottle of Cava for my wife birthday even though we could not drink it because she was pregnant.

Rooms And hotel service Are ok. Food is a complete disaster. Nasty scrambled eggs for breakfast and no fresh pastries. Dinner is very poor quality. The fresh water melon was frozen. Steak was made of very poor quality meat. Eggs are not fresh (they are from some bought mixture). Vegetagle And fruit have poor flavour. Hams Are like 60% meat. Yogurt/bad, musli/bad, Bacon/bad, coffee/😖...Its like they dont even care what they are serving... I dont mind if food Is not too various. I mind low quality very much. This was the lowest quality food i tasted on vacation
