Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You get what you pay for, value for money. Cold water shower but it's hot anyway. The room was clean and tidy. 5min walk from airport Once you leave airport walk out front and to your left you will see toll booths. You will need to walk out of airport entrance and then around to tolls. Cross over at tolls (busy road but doable) chillin homestay is located on otherwise of brick wall, under the billboards. You will see a small entrance way to allow you to get over the otherside of wall.

Only a 9 minute walk from the airport. However I was tired (flight from London) and had some luggage so took a taxi 70,000 IRs which was well worth the money. However if you are younger and fitter the walk is easy. Room was excellent and the air conditioning worked. There was water in the room and the shower was great.

The homestay is located at 5 minutes q to the international flights terminal and 15 minutes walking to the domestics flights terminal. The bathroom was not clean and seems that need some improvements. There is no hot water neither washbasin, so there is a challenge to brush your teeth. Just got a night, it's ok but maybe there is better options.

We arrived Bali at around 2am so we chose to stay one night at the nearest hotel. The hotel is just 5 min walks from airport by using short cut. However the room i get doesn't have sink and hot water. Midnight shower without hot water is way too cold for me.

Arrived at Ngurai airport at 1am, was a female solo traveler. It’s around 5-10mins walk from the airport. You have to go straight all the way to the airport parking then turn right. You’ll see fences, but there’s a small opening to go to the main road. I googled street view the airport all the way out, so I had an idea to where to walk from the airport to chillin kuta. You’ll have to turn right in the small street to see the homestay. Balinese people are nice and even helped me pass the street with some dogs. Very basic room but comfy bed.

Like others have , the airport fence you have to pass to get here is annoying... But for the price.!! A bargain.. Clean. Quiet. FREE water and toothbrush a great surprise..Friendly staff... WiFi and AC for under 15$..I walked Walk to the International and DOMESTIC in 8 and 15 minutes respectively ... Didn't give it 5* as like so many in Bali, the sewers put out a smell when the bathroom door open and the ubiquitous 'mosquito spray' smell was there..... Haha.. No bugs though.. 😁

I arrived at 1am and was going to walk over but since I was unfamiliar and my phone was dying I paid 100K to taxi over. So glad it's 24 hours check in and I got to choose bottom suite. It's basic but the pillows are fluffy and new and the bed is very comfortable. It's clean and they provide toothbrushes, soap and toiletry. I'll definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for one night after arriving into Bali after midnight. We walked from the airport which was a bit difficult as we had to get around a large fence enclosing the airport street, but once we did this it was fine. The hotel is located down a driveway like street. There were 3 or so vicious looking barking dogs at the street when we arrived but they didn't bother us as we walked past. The room was basic but clean and had aircon and free wifi which both worked very well. We also got complimentary water. The bathroom only had a toilet and shower (no basin) and no hot water. We had a good nights sleep except we were woken around 6am by a very loud religious song/music which sounded as though it was from a neighbouring property which went for about 10-15mins. There was a taxi service at the hotel which took us to our accomodation at Uluwatu the next morning. Overall a decent, conveniently located hotel for the price paid. AUD$22 for the night, can't really complain!

A very convenient place to crash the night before your flight. Technically, you'll just have to cross the road to reach the airport. The bed squeaks with a minimal movement, and there was no basin, however, all else in the room was fine.
