Advantages: close to the airport, so perfect if you have an early flight. They have a pool. The staff is helpful, we were able to check in a little before 2pm Bad points: bedsheets and bathtub looked dirty.

Stayed just the night with kids. Super cheap price. Place very very near from airport, got a local taxi driver and paid him idr50.000 as it was 1am.the staff was extremely polite and check in was super quick even at 1am.all rooms at at ground floor. Pool is simple, nice to just hang out few hours. Upper floor there is a cafe where they teach how to cook balinese food. Had breakfast there and enjoyed. Just paid idr75.000 for a plate of noodles and orang juice plus they gave us some fruits, coffee and tea free. Very nice people. There is also a grocery shop nearby which sells food, coffee, tea, water, snacks at regular rates.

A wonderful class with great explanations which really helped our understanding. Lots of fresh food that we cooked up and ate - and have the recipe book to replicate at home. A great crew who made it an entirely enjoyable experience. Very highly recommend this to anyone.

Quick, simple check-in process for a 1 night stay before catching early 7am flight next morning. Reasonable S$16/night. Clean, comfortable bed and a good few hours of sleep. The room and bathroom were generally clean. However, was bitten by mosquitoes initially upon check in. The room safe appeared not to be working. No hot water for showers although the water was not too cold. For the price paid, the hotel/facilities were good enough and value for money. Very close, 700m to the Airport.

Stayed here for one night before a flight. Rooms smelled of mold, paint was peeling off the wall & you could see where there was water damage. Looks like whoever owns this place has stopped doing maintenance. Don't be fooled by the pictures the hotels has up, on Google maps it looks nice, it's not.

At first the Anika Guest House seems grand and beautiful.. Lots of hanging plants in a garden like atmosphere and fun tile and stone work, and the staff seem very nice. But the Anika is.. Nasty. The pool at the front looks beautiful at first but the tile above the water line is disgusting and makes me wonder how clean the pool really is. In fact, paying any attention to the edges of everything makes you realize how water damaged and MOLDY this place is. The first room we were given was nicely cleaned but the edges of paint were coming off and as soon as we turned the AC on the room started to wreak of mold. The air con had black mold growing behind it and in other places that they had tried to hide the sent of with spray airfresheners. We got a new room and it was.. Better.. Bareable at least. Walking around the building I found where water damage caused holes in the ceiling that now had black mold and cockroaches in it. Upstairs there were dead cockroaches in a couple places (where they teach the Balinese cooking coarse!?). It seems to be like the Anika is a beautiful place that had not and is not being well maintained. Oh, and I should also mention that if you expect to have wifi, it will only occasionally work within about 10 feet of the front desk.. Meaning it's useless in all of the rooms.

Have Low Expectations and you should be Surprised. I got the room 102 and aside from the poor showerhead, 3 dead lightbulbs, an old crt tv set with no remote and a broken safe... You should be surprised that the hotwater is readily available and HOT. And that the AC is very very Chilling no matter what temperature you decide. It feels like 16°c LoL... The bed and pillows are also comfortable and no odour can be found. Good job there. The check-in easy enough with a friendly staff who dissapears with no trace at random moments. You may find yourself feeling abandoned by the empty quiet lobby. There is a large bathtub people might mistake as a pool. I say mistaken because you can't really swim in that tiny space just across the lobby next to the entrance. They have a separate dining area across the main building in front of their newer second building. I cannot attest as to the quality of the cooking nor it's pricing but i do see it quite crowdy throughout the day. The fotos in Agoda do justifiably represent it's real condition but bare in mind this review is of room 102. Others may have a different experience based on the conditions of their room and personal expectations. As I mentioned in the title, be simple-minded when choosing this property and you should not be dissappointed. For it's current price range of 145.000 in Agoda, with it's ideal location next to the airport... This is highly recommended for the budget traveller.
