Lovely restored convent, but a bit sparse. Breakfast was disappointing for a parador. Good local restaurant opposite. Bar area large but not very comfortable. Outside space was a bit untidy - grass needed cutting. Rooms comfortable but most are quite small.

If I hadn't eaten here, this would have been a five star review. The hotel is wonderful and in general the staff very friendly but very limited in English, which we had not expected from a Parador. Part of the problem was undoubtedly due to the fact that my daughter and I have allergies and due to my husbands rusty... More

On the way into town - following the SatNav - we were a bit underwhelmed by the surroundings. It turned out that the SatNav was playing with us as the Parador is beautiful. It's a well restored monastery with thoughtful conversions of the old courtyards and rooms into interesting and comfortable areas. Reception was friendly and helpful, the room very... More

Confortable, suggestive, with very good beds. Locals are wide, but panels with indication of restaurant and other services are confused and contradictory, personnel very kind and restaurant is quite good.

From the 16th century, the two story Parador is quite small and not flashy, has several inner courtyards and cloisters, the rooms are old cells that have been modernized to provide comfort and contemporary conveniences. It is in the middle of town, surrounded by a high wall with an easy walk to the city center. The bar features interesting huge... More

This place has all the character and quirkiness you could ever want in a parador. Perfect location with easy walking to the many and varied sights of this charming Spanish enclave. Delightful comfortable room which overlooked one of many small courtyards which the former nun occupants could well have used for meditation and contemplation. Stunning summer restaurant a la fresco... More

As we often do, we broke up our drive with a jolly good lunch in a Parador dining room. The service and food was very good as we expected. It allowed up to do a leisurely drive through the hills of La Mancha from Cordoba to Toledo without giving up a calory. We did not see the rooms but the... More

A quiet, well located, beautiful, Parador with an excellent staff. The town is beautiful, the in the plaza near the Parador and throughout the town were warm and inviting. Wonderful stay. I would not hesitate to stay again given the opportunity.

We are keen supporters of Paradores and booked this one as our final stop on the way south from Santander to Andalucía. The old building is a lovely place. The friendly staff on reception took us to the door of our accessible room. My wife uses a wheelchair. Immediately we saw that she would not be able to take a... More
