We have been going to the hotel for the last six years. It is convenient, one of the few hotels where u can park the car outside, the staff are very polite, you can walk to the center of glyfada. The only problem the last time was that the tv in the room only had 2 greek channels and if... More

Functional, clean hotel, nothing to get excited about. The price is high for what it has to offer and is probably driven by the area, rather than the facility itself. Near the seaside, you'll probally need taxi to move around

I stayed 3 nights there and loved the place : a tram takes you to Syndagma and allows you to come back to the beautiful pool after a long day of visits. The beach on the other side of the road is absolutely great with a posh bar and a great restaurant. I landed at midnight and could hop on... More

The Golden Sun was a good choice for us on a recent 2 night pre -island then 3 night post- island trip to Greece. The ride to and from the Airport is about 1/2 hr at 30 EUs. Reception (especially Tatianna) and lobby is welcoming and public facilities and lounge areas are kept clean and comfortable. Pool exceptionally large with... More

Hotel is in a quiet part of Glyfada but very close to the excellent private beach (around 5 minutes walking, 4 euro per day) and shopping area and great restaurants (around 10 minutes walking). Hotel is very convenient for couples and families. Standard double Rooms are comfortable and quit big but furniture needs some renovation. Pool is quit big within... More

Was possibly a 4 star when it was new. Bedroom had a bed and ensuite. TV had a Turkish channel and some European ones. No Greek or English except BBC news. No minibar although had a fridge that didn't work. Quality of breakfast was not so good. 3rd day at different times hot food was cold. Although had aircon, it... More

Stayed for one night in April 2016. The hotel is a bit far from the center of Athens, but at an excellent region. The tram lines passes next to the hotel, so there is a direct (not so fast) connection with the center of the city. The area is fantastic, very quiet. I had a fantastic view of the pool.... More

I chose to spend the last night of my holiday here rather than the centre of Athens and was happy with my decision. The hotel is very easy to reach from both the airport and the port of Piraeus as the X96 bus stops right outside. There is also a tram stop just up the road so you can access... More

I had to find somewhere to stay near to home for a few nights, with a pool. I called this hotel with some questions before deciding whether to book. All answers as I wanted & dealt with so patiently, so I booked. On arrival I was informed they had made an addition to my room & hoped it would be... More

Stayed there during an exhibition period and booked quite late, as some rooms "reserved" for exhibitors. This naturally caused the price to be much higher than the normal EUR 80 for a single with breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Location is good near the main roads, but still in a quiet mostly residental area. The beach is only a few minutes... More
