The lobby and reception area is nice as is the breakfast room. Plenty of seating. Decor is interesting and probably would've been fabulous when first built. It retains most of its original features and charm. The room we were allocated was quite disappointing but clean. The room is in need of refurbishment along with all the floor coverings. Bathroom OK... More

It is an old hotel and we spent 2 days in total here when exploring Athens. The hotel is situated next to a very busy road (three lanes) which the Greek use as a Formula 1 circuit, or at least WTCC circuit. The rooms are small and outdated but was clean and fit the purpose. The soundproofing doors to the... More

We stayed as a group of friends and had a wonderful time at the Emmantina. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to help us when needed. The rooftop bar and pool area is perfect for sunbathing and the view over to the Aegean Sea is beautiful. We will definitely stay here again. One word of... More

The hotel doesn't look great from the outside and looks a bit old when you come in. It's been about 20 years since I've seen lifts with manual doors but at least they work. The rooms are very small, furniture is old and worn but at least everything is clean. Bathroom was very small and the narrow bathtub is very... More

Emmantina Hotel is a good place to stay when you are on a short trip to Athens. Instead of all the crowd in the city center Glyfada is just some 10 kilometers from the city and has a little beach. The Hotel has a roof top pool and a nice sunset to see from there. Don't book half pension as... More

We stayed at the Emmantina during the first week of August. Our aim was to find a hotel close to, but not in Athens, ideally next to the coast and with some restaurants and shopping close by. This hotel ticked the boxes for all of these things and more. The location of the hotel is ideal for all of what... More

In a nutshell, the rooms were nice enough, but the hotel is on a very busy street that you must cross to get to the beach, and the wifi was so slow it was unusable. Outside of the busy street, it is very close to shopping and the beach. It is not tourist type shopping of things you would take... More

When we turned up it was very early hours of the morning! Our friends had checked in two day before but out check in wasn't until 2pm which is standard! The man at reception was very welcoming and offered for us to lie down in the bar area on the sofas which we did until breakfast was being served! The... More
