Las Lagunas is the perfect combination of close to the city of Flores (15 min from the airport) and secluded on a private lake in the jungle. If you are planning a trip to Tikal National Park or other Mayan sites, you must stay here. It was opened in 2012, so it is very new. Not "modern", but a wonderful...

The room was spacious, and well appointed, if not luxurious. The lodge was filled with Mayan antiques, and looked out over an infinity pool, the lake. Food was beautifully presented, and enormously flavorful. The staff was extremely well trained. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate and was always extraordinary cheerful

Las Lagunas far exceeded our e pectations in every way. Our "villa" on the lake was fabulous. The hotel ..... staff ... restaurant ... EVERYTHING just wonderful. Concierge was FABULOUS worked to help us with a travel challenge which would have ruined our trip. We absolutely cannot wait to return. The owner of this hotel has created a magical spot...

My husband and I spent 2 days of our honeymoon at Las Lagunas - and we never wanted to leave!! The property was so gorgeous, and the staff was incredibly accommodating! Our cabana was BEAUTIFUL, the food was delicious and elegant and we felt like royalty! Definitely a splurge, but TOTALLY worth it!

This hotel loses a score of excellent for two reasons. 1) the nature reserve and treatment of the Jaguar and the heads of animals mounted in the lobby 2) the breakfast. The hotel is very very lovely and very special. It needs to develop and refine. and also very good value for money. I think they can charge more and...

We stayed at Las Lagunas while visiting Tikal. All the rooms are little cabins on the edge of a lake with Jacuzzis. It's a great place to stay when visiting Tikal. The people were friendly. The restaurant was good. There's not so much to do that I wouldn't really want to stay more than 3 days or so, but for...

Don't even know where to start. Top-notch service, beautiful rooms with maybe the best jacuzzi I've ever been in (huge and a view on the lagoon), charming setting and amazing infinity pool. The food is a bit overpriced but once you try at least one dish you don't even mind anymore - everything is incredibly tasty. Expect small but beautifully...

Las Lagunas is simply wonderful. The cabins hanging over the lake are spacious, graceful, luxurious and cozy all at the same time. The restaurant is excellent too and the staff are exceptionally nice and attentive. Love this place!

This property is one of the best places we have stayed. The staff provides nice touches repeatedly. The monkey island tour is not to be missed. The howler monkeys are very loud and interesting. The bungalows are great!
