The ad said," No Frills, basic accommodations", and that was exactly what it was. A good bed, a clean room and bathroom, fresh soft towels decent carpet, and no smells! They provide shampoo/conditioner, and lotion in sample bags instead of small bottles, but not many people use those anyway. Unless, you've had a wreck and have nothing else, so they... More

I've stayed in my fair share of motels but this was bad. To begin, we wanted a non smoking room. The room reeked of smoke. I can get past that.... but there's A LOT more. This is what I saw and my opinion of what happened during my stay. 1. When I pulled back the comforter, a live fly flew... More

Pleasant enough.... We were greeted in a friendly, but business-like way. Check-in went very fast. The staff who took care of the rooms during our stay was very friendly. A couple of lights didn't work in our room, but we also didn't report it or give opp to be fixed. Price was very good--especially for a holiday weekend. Was a... More

Room was very clean, everything worked, friendly staff at arrival & checkout. small continental breakfast was included. if you stay on Hwy 281 side , there is a bit of road traffic noise, so suggest the Back of the Inn !

My husband and I stayed at Hill Country Motel celebrating our 12th anniversary. There were not many motels available, or they were way out of our price range. I read reviews and was a little worried. I booked their only suite that they have. I was really satisfied with the room, it was not the Sheraton or Best Western, but... More

For those not familliar with Marble Falls, lodging fills up quickly on summer weekends and during special events and ocassions any time of year, and prices can be steep for a small town! We planned this trip rather last minute, and Hill Country Inn was the only place in town that had a room with two beds available. This was... More

When I checked in the staff was nice I got a room within five minutes and it was the best price hotel in town as far as I could tell. upon entering the room it had to be 95° inside I quickly turned on the air conditioner, but it took 30 to 45 minutes for the room to cool down... More

I can't give a low enough rating. First off let me say the only reason I stayed here was because every hotel was booked in town and I had to come for a funeral. The room was absolutely awful. The popcorn ceiling was literally falling off in chunks, the smoke alarm went off all night until I took it apart,... More

I wasn't expecting much; in town for a wedding, I just needed a bed for the night and it did deliver that much. Unfortunately, I learned in the morning, the shower provided hot water, it provided cold water, it did not provide warm water. I showered as best I could with a washcloth, but was unwilling to stick my head... More

My husband got up to use the restroom in the middle of the night and when he turned on the bathroom light the little buggers scattered. When we reported it to the attendant he didn't seem surprised, he just asked if there was one or more than one.
